On the morning of January 21st, Eject Elbit activists across the country in all time zones disrupted their local Capital One Cafe with one clear demand - Capital One must drop their loan to Elbit Systems. The Zionist entity has once again broken the sham ceasefire, launching an airstrike in Gaza that killed 11 Palestinians, 3 of whom were journalists. Meanwhile, ICE raids have surged across the country, and ICE agents have become emboldened to enact more and more violence on our communities It is up to the people of conscience to take action against the imperialist war machine. We must cut off Elbit Systems financial lifeline, and we must disrupt all financiers of death, wherever they may lurk. Our movement against Capital One has grown nationally, and Capital One executives are feeling the pressure. SAY IT LOUD AND SAY IT CLEAR, ELBIT IS NOT WELCOME HERE #ejectelbit #droptheloan #cancelcapitalone #capitalone #freepalestine by @bdsboston
It's time to CANCEL CAPITAL ONE! Capital One is involved in loans totaling more than half a BILLION dollars to Elbit Systems, Israel's largest weapons company, making them directly complicit in Elbit's ability to arm israel's genocide and occupation of Palestine. We are calling on you to cancel your bank account and cut your cards with Capital One. We've developed a step-by-step guide to help you cancel your accounts with Capital One and Discover cards, ending with an email campaign so you can let Capital One leadership know that you've canceled and WHY. We urge you: whether you have a bank or credit card account with Capital One, refuse to let your money be used to fund and profit off of genocide, occupation, deportation, and state surveillance. by @bdsboston
UPDATE: THE GRAND JURY TRIAL SET FOR 11/4 HAS BEEN MOVED TO 11/18. ALL OUT TO SUPPORT GRAND RESISTANCE ON NOVEMBER 18TH by @bdsboston
COURT SUPPORT REQUEST 📍 55 Pleasant Street Concord, NH 03301 🕐 Nov 4 8:30AM Two comrades, previously sentenced for their action against Elbit Systems in Merrimack NH, have been summoned by a grand jury in the Trump administration's latest wave against pro-Palestine activism. We are asking for people to show up for a court support rally outside to show solidarity with our comrades as they refuse to testify. Grand Juries have been historically used to try to break popular movements. Currently, pro-Palestine activists in Michigan and anti-ICE protestors in Minnesota are also facing Grand Jury Trials. THE PALESTINE SOLIDARITY MOVEMENT WILL NOT BE INTIMIDATED BY THE FASCIST ADMINISTRATION. ALL OUT TO SUPPORT GRAND JURY RESISTANCE AND FIGHT FASCISTIC REPRESSION by @bdsboston
Nurses In, Lockheed Out! Today @bdsboston, @hcw4pal.boston, and @cirseiu showed up outside of Mass General Brigham’s “World Medical Innovation Forum” in support of protesting @bwhmna nurses and to demand that Lockheed Martin CEO James Taiclet be removed from the MGB board.   The group flyered and held banners at the Boston Seaport event to let its corporate CEO attendees know that MGB should be promoting healthcare and the nurses who provide it, not warfare. Lockheed has made billions in profits by supplying israel with the fighter jets and missiles used to target medical facilities and murder healthcare workers in Palestine, Lebanon, and Iran. What happened to the ethos of “First, Do No Harm?” Tell MGB it’s time to sever its relationship with the CEO of the world’s largest weapons manufacturer and end its complicity in genocide and war profiteering! Tell MGB to remove James Taiclet from its Board of Directors! Call or write MGB and demand Taiclet’s removal now! tinyurl.com/LockheedOut #LockheedOutOfMGB #HealthcareNotWarfare by @bdsboston

📣 @bostonglobe, honor your colleagues! On Wednesday morning, we joined our friends at Palestinian Youth Movement Boston for a Press Conference paying tribute to the martyred journalists of Gaza. Speakers named the heightened responsibility that the Boston Globe holds as one of the nation's most prominent newspapers. Journalists and their news institutions hold responsibility to speak and act against the systemic and targeted killing of their colleagues in Gaza. Understanding Boston as the Brain Trust of Genocide through the U.S. and Israel's partnerships across public, private, and academic institutions, the Globe bears an additional investigative responsibility to expose the complicity housed in this city. #gaza #freepalestine by @bdsboston
On July 8th, the billionaire vulture capitalists on the Mass General Brigham Board of Directors forced over 4500 Brigham and Women's Hospital nurses and MGB Home Care clinicians to go on strike by refusing to negotiate a fair contract. As punishment, the MGB board imposed a four-day lock out, refusing to allow the nurses back into the hospital, even though they were ready to return to work and resume care of their patients. On July 10th, members of HCW4P, CIR, and BDS Boston showed up in solidarity with the striking nurses. We called out the pathetic attempt by the MGB board to break the strike and break the nurses’ spirit, and the lie of their austerity narrative: a 0% raise for nurses while making record profits, and sparing no cost to pay for scabs, who lacked the professional expertise to adequately care for MGB patients. When it comes to protecting their million-dollar salaries and obscene profits, money is no object for CEO Anne Klibanski and the MBG board—protecting patients’ lives and the livelihoods of the nurses who care for them be damned. One of these board members is James Taiclet, the CEO of Lockheed Martin that supplies Israel with the fighter jets and missles used to target medical facilities and healthcare workers in Palestine, Lebanon, and Iran. Since the beginning of the genocide in Gaza, Israel has targeted and killed over 1700 healthcare workers. After harming countless Palestinians abroad, James Taiclet is now harming patients here in Boston by doing what he does best: prioritizing bloody profit over livesaving patient care. A man who doesn't value human life will never value the workers who preserve it. It’s time to remove Taiclet from the MGB board and negotiate a fair contract for MGB nurses! It’s time to prioritize healthcare workers over warmongers! #LockheedOutOfMGB #HealthcareNotWarfare by @bdsboston
We join in solidarity hundreds of striking healthcare workers at Brigham and Women’s Hospital. Last year, Mass General Brigham (MGB) CEO Anne Klibanski made over $8 million while workers and patients struggle. Consistent with this greed, MGB has the CEO of Lockheed Martin, James Taiclet, as a board member. It’s clear that the hospital management aligns with billionaires and Zionists instead of the people they claim to serve. Our organizers joined the picket line, elevating the demand for the freedom of Palestinian healthcare workers like Dr. Hussam Abusafiya. #healthcareworkers4palestine #freedrabusafiya by @bdsboston
HAPPENING NOW: hundreds of nurses and their supporters join the picket line to demand a fair contract from MGB, the same corporate entity with board member James Taiclet, CEO of Lockheed Martin. It’s no wonder MGB is putting profit over people with Zionist war profiteers in their leadership. Protestors demand a fair contract here in Boston and freedom for healthcare workers in Palestine like Hussam Abu Safiya. by @bdsboston
Today, the billionaires and vulture capitalists that make up the board of Mass General Brigham have forced over 4500 Brigham and Women's Hospital nurses and MGB Home Care clinicians to go on strike by refusing to negotiate a fair contract. One of those board members is James Taiclet, CEO of Lockheed Martin, who supplies Israel with the fighter jets and missles used to target medical facilities and healthcare workers in Palestine, Lebanon, and Iran. After harming countless patients abroad, he's now harming patients here in Boston by triggering the largest healthcare worker strike in Massachusetts history and prioritizing profit over patient care. A man who doesn't value human life will never value the workers who preserve it. MGB, remove Taiclet from your board and negotiate a fair contract! See you on the picket line. #LockheedOutOfMGB by @bdsboston
EDIT: CANCELED DUE TO WEATHER 🗓 5/30 🕙 1pm 📍 700 Boylston St Join us for another picket against Capital One for its funding of Elbit Systems, Israel's largest weapons manufacturer. After nearly 3 years of ongoing genocide in Gaza, the Zionist entity has started to turn its colonial bloodlust towards South Lebanon. Within days of the US-Zionist unprovoked assault on Iran on Feb 28th, the Zionist invaders have demolished hospitals, schools, and entire neighborhoods in Beirut and all across the South. While they struggle to meet genuine military objectives, they have used American public and corporate investment to displace and murder thousands of Lebanese and Palestinian refugees. Elbit Systems remains a key part of Israel's logistical slaughtering operation, and Capital One loaned up to $90 million to Elbit in the hopes of raking in some returns. As people living in the heart of empire, we must be held accountable to do all that we can to disrupt business as usual. Show up with noisemakers and mask up! See you there!! #ejectelbit #droptheloan #freepalestine by @bdsboston
