Today, we honour the legacy of David Hockney — one of the most influential artists of our time.

Through bold colour, experimentation, and an unmistakable way of seeing the world, Hockney created works that felt both deeply personal and universally recognisable.

His art invited people to slow down, look closer, and find beauty in the everyday.

At IMBA, we are grateful to continue sharing a glimpse into his creative world through Bigger & Closer (not smaller & further away).

His influence on art and visual culture will continue to inspire for generations to come.

Thank you, David Hockney.

Our BLOOMYARD exhibition is showing alongside David Hockney’s BIGGER & CLOSER show at IMBA THEATRE, SINGAPORE. Excited is an understatement!

It’s always a truly amazing feeling to see our imaginings, conversations, drawings and 3D renders become a reality. Watching people interact with our artwork, laughing, playing, contemplating and relaxing is incredibly rewarding.
