Hello peeps, Ash here. There is no shortage of inspirational figures when it comes to the care experienced community. Had the joy of meeting @efeobadauk at 10 Downing Street this week - a former NFL player with his own lived experience.

Also caught up with @xdebbietowiex @lydiabright - they are way more than just TOWIE royalty - but a veteran foster mum & sibling who have supported so many & continue to work as advocates. 🙏🏽💚 by @be_inspired_uk

Some of the brilliant Be Inspired team visiting Arsenal/Emirates Stadium today (and a special, er, cup 👀) for a very exciting November event that we’ll be collaborating on & hosting for care experienced young people! 🔥🔥 by @be_inspired_uk

Some of the Be Inspired team & a bunch of care experienced legends - just before entering 10 Downing Street for the Black History Month reception.

There’s something special about a cohort of Black care experienced people taking up space. It’s what @be_inspired_uk is all about! ❤️🎉 by @be_inspired_uk

Last night at 10 Downing Street for Black History Month. Even more phenomenal is that their team asked me to bring some Black care experienced legends along for the fun. Quite the moment, as care experienced peeps, being in that space. 💚

Then strolled into another Downing Street reception today to mark a new govt initiative aimed at recruiting more foster carers. Timely & needed.

Great times meeting old & new friends & chopping it up with our PM. 👌🏽

Nkechi Simms, who is part of the Be Inspired community, has been fighting to get her care records from her local authority. It’s culminated in a compelling 4-part podcast called, Careless. It’s a powerful listen & reflects the struggle that many care experienced people face in trying to get their care files.

Do listen if you can. Link in bio. by @be_inspired_uk

The Be Inspired team are so incredibly proud of @nkechisimms right now, who has made front page of The Observer today, sharing her story about fighting her local authority for her care files.

Thank you Nkechi for sharing a struggle that so many care experienced people have to navigate. Bringing this issue to national attention is a phenomenal achievement. Thank you so much. ❤️🎉🎉 by @be_inspired_uk

Earlier today, we hosted a reception for friends, partners & supporters of @be_inspired_uk . Very excited for how things are shaping up for Be Inspired Festival 2027. Bowled over by the will & support from SO many.

And big big love to Soho House for hosting us. 💚💚 taken in Soho House 76 Dean Street by @be_inspired_uk
