Hi friends!! Long overdue, let me introduce myself! I’m Kristin. 🌊🌴 I love reading at the beach or poolside. Besides being a reader these are a few other things that make me happy: traveling, the beach, Disney, dolphins, swimming everyday, reading outside. My favorite season is summer. I love emotional stories, and books that make me cry. 📚I love to read a wide variety of genres— mostly romance with a sprinkle of thrillers, fantasy, and nonfiction. My husband and I typically listen to sci-fi books together. 📺Some of my favorite tv shows: Paradise, Schitts Creek, Gilmore Girls, Gossip Girl. 🎬Favorite movies: Top Gun would be at the top of my list with Dirty Dancing and early 2000s rom coms! 🎶Music: 80s, early 2000s pop and Taylor Swift In college I spent 3 months living on a Brigantine Sailing ship for a semester. Looking for an emotional angsty second chance romance? Read this book! 💕 MAKE ME HATE YOU by @kandisteiner just rereleased with this gorgeous cover from @keeperton and @arndellbooks. This or box is soooo fun! The Coastal Jasmine and fresh rain candle by @wellreadcandlecompany is incredible!! The moody weather we have been having in Florida fits the setting of this book perfectly! 😂 This book is messy and of course loved it!!! The push and pull of the two main characters of will the or won’t they fall in love. There is much angst, yearning and unfinished feelings. Tyler was her childhood crush and happens to be her best friend’s older brother. He broke her heart seven years ago and has been trying to forget him ever since. If you love angsty romances, emotional stories, desperate for the main characters to actually communicate then this book is for you. This week I started another readalong!! 📖✨ This time it’s Magic Hour by Kristin Hannah. A small town in the Pacific Northwest. A lost child who emerges from the woods with a wolf pup. 🐺🌲 This book hooks you right in the beginning with this premise.. I’m hooked! I’m also hoping to read more Kristin Hannah this winter— The Great Alone and The Nightingale are on top of my TBR. Have you read all three of these yet? The coziest fall read 🍂📖🤎 This book had ALL the things: 🩵 So much banter 🏕️ A cabin in the woods 🥵 A little forbidden tension 💙 A grumpy man who yearns 💕 And a romance I couldn’t get enough of Goode Tidings by @jenmillwrites is out TODAY! Callum and Eden’s story is here and it’s sooo GOOD! I was smiling, giggling, and completely falling for these two while listening to the audiobook. I can’t wait to get my shelf trophy copy. The audiobook is duet narrated by @hannahchiclana & @aaron.donahuehue, and I LOVED them. The banter, the chemistry, the emotions… perfection. Can I tell you about one of my favorite reads this year? It’s a story of first loves, finding yourself, changing your path, and friendships. 💕🍎 Plus there’s an Apple orchard and New York City setting. Thank you @prhaudio, @randomhousebooks and @ballantinebooks for my gifted book!  #PRHAudioPartner  LOVE YOU MORE by @emilygiffinauthor follows Billie who lives in New York City. She is a doctor, has her own practice, just got engaged— life is perfect. The next day she gets a call from her high school boyfriend that changes everything. The story then takes you back to their love story and how it shaped who she is today. That’s all I am going to tell you because you need to experience this story as it’s told! I was lucky to be able to read this one earlier this year and I haven’t been able to stop thinking about it. The audiobook is narrated by Jessica Luza. She brings Billie to life even giving voices to the other characters.
