What a week it’s been. NC with @alexander.faulkner was nothing short of amazing. Epic climbs in the Linville Gorge, hiking around 30 miles in total, getting caught on the side of a cliff in a thunderstorm and getting drenched the entire 7 mile slog back to the car, an impromptu comedy show and @badbadnotgood at the Orange Peel in Asheville, new friends, and finishing the trip off at Seneca Rocks in WV… this trip was something else and one I’ll never forget. by @beaker717

A week ago we lost one of the greatest men I’ve known in my life. Always driven by compassion and kindness, humility and selflessness, he helped shape me into the person I am today. He was a man of principle who always put others before himself. I will always carry that with me. Most of all he was one bitchin’ Pop Pop. I can’t wait until we meet again one day. by @beaker717
