🎙️14:00 @ Lantern Hall Stage - DEBATE: £5 Latte! Who is paying for it?

Our debates were a big hit last year, so we decided to bring them back and even better, we are going to discuss the mystery of the price of your coffee!

Please, don’t fall for those beautiful smiles, there will be bloody and tears of who win the argument of what is the right way to price the coffee that you drink every morning from a coffee shop.

@beardedjourno will defend the customer point of view: As the Editor of Bristol24/7, Martin Booth has skilfuly managed to create a job for himself that regularly includes drinking speciality coffee. Martin is also a tour guide and author, with his latest guidebook, 111 Places in Bath That You Shouldn’t Miss, including Colonna & Smalls as a chapter.

@joe_phillips89 will defend the coffee shop owner point of view: Managing Director of YARD Coffee Group, a small group of speciality coffee shops and coffee businesses.
With over 15 years’ experience in the coffee industry, Joe has worked across both large coffee chains and independent businesses, from Coffee#1 and Boston Tea Party to working alongside some of the UK’s leading independent cafés.

🌟Our stage has the amazing @_gajl as Emcee, and this should be enough to convince you to come to watch it!

Bristol Coffee Festival is proudly sponsored by @dallacorte.uk @oddkincoffee @brewedbyhand in partnership with @bwtuk @espressosolutions @monin_uk

One day, a house I own is going to have a library big enough to need ladders like @toppingsbath. Until then, I’ll have to suffice with a chapter dedicated to Toppings in my new book, 111 Places in Bath That You Shouldn’t Miss, available now from Toppings and all other good bookshops. taken in Topping & Company Booksellers of Bath by @beardedjourno

111 Places in Bath That You Shouldn’t Miss chapter 16: Brickfields Park. Clay was once excavated here to make bricks, chimneys, flowerpots and pipes. The park now contains a playground, pump track and basketball court, as well as hosting a parkrun every Saturday morning. taken in Brickfields Park Bath by @beardedjourno
