A late processor, so here goes gratitude on text…
‘LEITLHO LA TERENA- The Intersection between Purpose & Pragmatism ‘ , an ode, a Thank You to God for keeping his promises. A story about perseverance, faith and action.
I chose to tell this chapter because we don’t need to wait until we’re “successful” to tell our journeys. If you don’t tell your story, someone else will write it for you.

This process taught me the beauty of surrendering. I left it at His feet and He steered the ship till the end. A huge and warm Thank You to my cast @baya.mzulwini @howard_vuwani @nale_mosiane for their diligence, dedication and delivery. I was blessed beyond measure to have worked with such amazing beings, both in their capacity as performers and character. They handled the story with grace and integrity.

Infinite gratitude for @3vo.jpg ‘s dedication, work and kindness. He understood the vision and delivered. I’m excited to see how we bring the full vision to life.

No man is an island, therefore his wins aren’t. A humble Thank You to all those guided me through the process, the Production & Musical team, as well as those that took their time to wake up and commute to the theatre to watch.

DIMITERRE, derived from the Latin word “to let go,” is an embodied solo work in dance and physical theatre that explores the psychological and sensorial terrain of dissociation through the physicality of the human form.

This body of work interrogates not only what it means to dissociate, but also to Evolve.
Through a synthesis of somatic inquiry, grief work, and symbolic resonance, posing the question: What does it mean to let go—not into forgetting, but into becoming.

A quick little testimony, and no, not Klytemnestra’s😅!

In 2006*, standing by the ballet barre, starring into the rehearsal room across ours whilst waiting for my cue, eyes glistening with wonder, was little ol’ me (last slide). All I could hear were passionate performers, drums and directors brewing shows for “Grahamstown Festival”. I said “I don’t know what that is, but I HAVE to do that one day”.
Fast forward to throwing NAF as a bonus goal into my vision board for 2025, and God said “Say Less”. #hisgrace #fullcirclemoment #intandoyakhe

I’ve always known that my heart belongs on stage, and to share it with such talented Beings is a Blessing. Thank you @tshepang_sehole for bringing us together to play a story God planted so gently in your heart.
Yael Farber’s ‘MOLORA’ is a timeless piece with an anointed message for humankind.

Thank You; @nationalartsfestival , @standardbankarts , Makhanda, @wits_theatre_ and Staff , stage manager @oraa._m , crew, every loud and silent cheerer who supported us, @wsoa_tap , every audience member who bared witness, @wesley_pepper_ @womanradiosa @cue.online @n_sinekamva_m @news24 @joelcharlesontong @the_buz_hive , The Man Above.
