Mark Mothersbaugh and Beatie Wolfe invite you to a free public weekend at MutMuz Gallery celebrating their collective mail art campaign Postcards for Democracy. This public art demo (which first launched in 2020 following the attacks on USPS) has now received over 40,000 submissions and it wants yours! The weekend will feature postcard making sessions with the Corita Art Center (and others), voting workshops with Calmatters, DJs, and support from dublab. “Big Empty Country (LACMA Edit)” by Brian Eno and Beatie Wolfe taken from their album Lateral is to be experienced at the Zumthor-designed bench in the David Geffen Galleries @LACMA, presented by @kcrwmusic .

Located along the Wilshire Boulevard overpass, the piece transforms the act of sitting and observing into a listening experience. Designed to accompany the movement of the city just beyond the museum, “Big Empty Country” invites a moment of pause where sound, architecture, and the rhythm of Los Angeles converge. Subtle and immersive, it becomes part of the environment itself, offering a contemplative counterpoint to the constant flow of Wilshire Boulevard.

“An art museum is a place you go to have feelings and inhabit other possible worlds. For us, this piece of music feels like a place, a new land we could imagine living in. Any piece of art is a world in microcosm and we’re grateful for the chance to share this one with LAMCA’s visitors to offer them a chance to pause here,” said Brian Eno and Beatie Wolfe. by @beatiewolfe

“Afterlife” by Brian Eno and Beatie Wolfe, is a reimagining of the song “Before Life” from their 2025 album, Liminal.

Originally reworked to mark World Sleep Day in March 2026, the tracks slow, reflective atmosphere struck a chord with fans of ambient music and beyond.

Holmdel Horn antenna broadcasted the album Liminal by Brian and @beatiewolfe on Oct 27, 2025, with the assistance of Nobel Prize winning physicist Dr. Robert Wilson.

The antenna is a monument of major historic significance located at Crawford Hill, in the newly established Robert Wilson National Park. Built by Bell Laboratories in 1959, it played a crucial role in the discovery of the cosmic microwave background radiation. by @beatiewolfe
