🔥SAVE THE DATE 🔥– This Saturday, October 17th at 3:00 PM, I look forward to seeing you at Triennale Milano for a conversation with Zoe de Luca Legge and Damiano Gulli, presenting *The Lovers*, an ongoing project developed in San Francisco with the amazing ecosexual artists and activists Annie Sprinkle and Beth Stephens.

The event will be followed by the Screening (OV with english subtitles) of their new film *Playing with Fire - An Ecosexual Emergency* 🌈 last chapter of the Ecosexual Trilogy.

Chapter I: Annie and Beth Now out on @nero_editions ❤️ The project was realized in San Francisco in the fall of 2025, during a residency with two divine creatures @anniesprinkled and @ebethstephens. This text takes the form of a diary of that experience—a record of a moment lived through an evolving encounter with a new form of sexuality: The Ecosex Movement.

New on WHO IS SEEN — a conversation with Italian artist Beatrice Favaretto on contemporary art, sexuality, desire, vulnerability, the body, intimacy, identity, and self-determination.

Favaretto discusses how performance, video, installation, and collaborative practice can become tools for examining bodily autonomy, eroticism, emotional exposure, and the ways we relate to ourselves and one another.

“Until the End” is part of the group exhibition Users, Unfriendly, curated by Domenico Quaranta and produced by Academy of Fine Arts of Brera at San Carpoforo’s Church, Milan.

Unfortunately, my other work, Piss Fountain, was censored by the institution, which deemed its content “too sensitive.”
An academy whose role should be to educate artists and create space for freedom, experimentation, and critical research has instead chosen to censor the use of the body—our bodies—as public material.

Only Until the End remains: a video that, paradoxically, speaks precisely to a burning, political, and profound anger within a world that constantly attempts to extinguish us, domesticate us, and force us into its own rules. A world where anger can remain visible, as long as it is confined to a screen. But when the body becomes matter, presence, and freedom, it suddenly becomes too sensitive, too dangerous, and unworthy of occupying space.

The work was removed before the exhibition opened. Now, only a trace of it remains in the catalogue. But perhaps a trace is enough to remind us that censorship does not erase a work—it only reveals what we are afraid of. taken in Accademia di belle arti di Brera by @beatrice.f_

Beatrice Favaretto ha a che fare con i corpi. Corpi reali e corpi rappresentati. Nella tensione tra queste due dimensioni si sviluppa la sua pratica artistica, intesa come spazio di relazione, dove nascono incontri, conversazioni e scambi. L’artista crea le sue opere partendo da queste occasioni di prossimità. Ne scaturisce che all’interno del suo lavoro, il corpo non è mai solo individuale, ma è sempre collettivo e appartenente a una comunità.

Nella sua pratica i vissuti diventano immagini, l’intimità si converte a dispositivo pubblico e la comunità viene resa come racconto. Non c’è nulla di provocatorio o scandaloso nella sua rappresentazione della sessualità. La pornografia e tutti gli immaginari che vi gravitano attorno, sono per l’artista dei linguaggi e dunque, dei territori condivisi.

Hold Me While I’m Naked (2019-25), Performance
Special guest: LALLIBOOP @lalliboop

Hold Me While I’m Naked is an experiment in sharing sexuality and desire. The project gathers anonymous erotic fantasies and stories collected since 2020, which come to life through live readings performed by a narrator under the pseudonym Miele. On this occasion, the voice was that of Lalliboop—bodybuilder, dominatrix, and storyteller.
