New on WHO IS SEEN — a conversation with Italian artist Beatrice Favaretto on contemporary art, sexuality, desire, vulnerability, the body, intimacy, identity, and self-determination. Favaretto discusses how performance, video, installation, and collaborative practice can become tools for examining bodily autonomy, eroticism, emotional exposure, and the ways we relate to ourselves and one another. #ContemporaryArt #PerformanceArt #BeatriceFavaretto

Alongside the production of If All Time Is Eternally Present, Mare Karina developed and coordinated the project’s communication strategy in collaboration with the Pier Luigi Nervi Foundation, the curators and Bottega Veneta. Our work at Mare Karina included coordinating press strategy and outreach, developing the press kit, commissioning the production of press materials and creating the Foundation’s social media content calendar for the exhibition. We also managed newsletter communications, developed invitation and contact lists for the public opening, and acted as a liaison between the various teams and partners to present a consistent message across all channels. It has been rewarding to see the exhibition discussed across magazines, newspapers, digital platforms, university visits and public tours. Here is a shortlist: For in-depth articles and interviews (all links in bio): • @cateavataneo X @curamagazine • @mitchellnugent X @interviewmag • @proverbs_of_a_black_muse X @ilgiornaledellarte • @come.mipare X @atpdiary • @clairementc X @nero_editions • @virvirginie X @iodonna_it • @marasartore X @myartguides • @audiffredi X @esquireitalia For listings and selecting the exhibition among top shows to visit during Biennale (a selection!): • @moussemagazine • Maximiliano Duron X @artnews • @raoulborioni X @nssmagazine • Veronica Rodenigo X @ilgiornaledellarchitettura • Alessandro Mussolini X @livingcorriere • @giorgiaaprosio X @domusweb • @alexandra.hildreth @madisonrexroat X @elleusa • Karly Quadros X @cultured_mag We are especially grateful to the team at Bottega Veneta for the care and enthusiasm they brought to the opening event and communication outreach. And for the success of the opening event a BIG thanks goes to the teams that worked with us: our exhibition cultural mediators Anna Zecchetto, Charlotte Di Qual, Costanza Mancuso, Elena Di Battista, Leone Spaccarelli, Letizia Celeste, Sofia Sistilli, Thabata Mazzabò, Tommaso Carradori; our event manager Sara Cattaneo; and the food & community team of TOCIA! — Photos: Camilla Vazzoler

SAVE THE DATE – 𝗔𝗽𝗿𝗶𝗹 𝟭𝟴𝘁𝗵, 𝟲:𝟯𝟬 𝗣𝗠 – book presentation: 𝘊𝘰𝘮𝘱𝘰𝘴𝘦 𝘖𝘶𝘳𝘴𝘦𝘭𝘷𝘦𝘴 / 𝘊𝘰𝘮𝘱𝘰𝘳𝘤𝘪 (@edizioni_ensemble) by Allison Grimaldi Donahue. The publication is a collection of poems that brings together years of study and writing. As an anglophone poet often working with the Italian language, Grimaldi Donahue will reflect on how this book came into being, and on the tensions and possibilities of carrying poetry across languages and contexts. The presentation will take place in dialogue with Graziano Mazza, director of the “Fatto Umano” collection by Edizioni Ensemble dedicated to contemporary poetry, and the book’s translator. During the event there will be a performative reading of the texts in their original language and in their Italian translation. The event will be held in Italian and English.

Our "Bazoombas in Love" gallery show got a great review in Art Forum today. In print and online. We couldn't have done it without a great curator gallerist like Jordan Stein. And all our dear generous collaborators. It takes a brothel! And we have the best! You can see great photos of the show at Cushion Works Gallery's website. Grateful to my boobs too. Early stage breast cancer can be hella fun! Check out the review online. Or pick up a print copy. Xx Thank you Art Forum.
