Plant it and forget it. That's exactly what I did with this watermelon 🍉 plant.

This is the result of seeds from a WM I ate and tossed the seeds into an indoor pot. They stayed dormant over the winter and sprouted when I moved the pot outside this summer.

Once matured, I transferred to where it is now and let it do its thing. To my surprise, I noticed a WM yesterday morning.

The moral of the story is that nature pretty much takes care of itself. No worm castings, bone meal, and all the other expensive products. Just good soil, sunlight, and water. TGBTG. by @beautiful.flower_ent

This past Sunday, I had the wonderful opportunity to participate in the Africa Town festival. The energy that comes from the community is nothing short of inspiring. The food, the music, the people! God knew what He was doing when He moved me to SW Philly... I mean Africa Town. For someone who travels the continent, it's just fitting.☝🏾 Amen!
