"Your companions played tug of war with the darkness for you while you slept..." This may be one of my favorite lines in the book.

Currently winding my way through Katabasis, by R.F. Kuang, so I thought my Persephone poem was appropriate.

We now interrupt our regular programming for a book haul. This week's book haul is absolutely legendary 🩰

What are you reading this September?

🔔ThistleHeart Home is on Kindle Unlimited🔔

Late summer turning to fall truly is my favorite. My restlessness is satiated and my heart full of sunshine and memories, and I can look forward to fall with all the habits and slowness.

Today I'll begin a season of revisions on my lit fic novel and pick up two of my most anticipated books of the year (The Understory by Chloe Benjamin and Crossing The Wine Dark Sea by Emily Wilson).

But late summer is also for sitting around a fire recounting memories. Come sit by the fire with me and share 🫶

So many grand Basilicas and I've loved the smaller chapels that are a little quieter. Come sit with me for a moment 🫶 by @beca.poetry
