Question of the day: What’s your pace and why do you enjoy running with because I can?

We love having a community where all paces have a place and where women feel safe to move their bodies at whatever speed works for them! Thank you for being an important part of this community because you all are what makes it what it is!💜

This weekend was definitely one for the books. The girls showed up and showed out and truly gage a pure example of why community is so important. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts to everyone that came to cheer and celebrate our girls until the very end! This Medal Monday is definitely one to remember 💜

Thank you to @therace_uc for having us and @caughtbysid_ for capturing some of these beautiful photos from Saturday! (Tagged on the ones shot by her!)

I pray I’m blessed & black in every lifetime!

There’s no place I’d rather be than rooted it this community. ❤️💚🖤

Enjoy some of my favorite candid shots 📸 from my favorite race to date: @therace_uc. I loved it so much that I registered for next year’s before I crossed the finish line for this year’s.

If you want to drown in black culture and bask in the ambiance of greatness, lock in wimme! We up for the anni next year! 🚀🙌🏽✨

🗣️ RED. BLACK. GREEN…GOOOoooOoo!!! @therace_uc day recap went a little something like this!

——————

Still on cloud TEN after yesterday! ‘Twas honestly the best bearthday gift EVER! To be in the presence of sooo many beautiful black folks from all walks of life was the best present a southern gal like myself could ask for. Our goals were to pace ourselves & finish strong, party hard, and pour goodness into one another…’cause if we don’t, WHO WILL?!

From the local high school bands sending us off at the start and welcoming us back at the finish - to the DJs being on every corner of the course - to my @becauseicanrunners beauties having my back the whole way - to the MCs hyping us up at the expo - to the BOMB ass ambiance of the VIP experience “The Retreat”…this was quite LITERALLY my favorite fun run of the year! HANDS DOWN!

If you’re contemplating whether or not you should register for The Race…Like Nike —> JUST DO IT! We’re celebrating the ten year anniversary next year so LOCK 🔒 IN NEOWWW!

Meet me there, beat me there, SEE ME THERE - or else I’m SNATCHING ya black card away! 📢

See y’all 10.2.27, baybeeee! LESSSSSGOOOOO!!!

@becauseicanrunners + @letsbreakasweatrc 𝒄𝒉𝒆𝒆𝒓 𝒔𝒕𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏 was 𝒉𝒂𝒏𝒅𝒔-𝒅𝒐𝒘𝒏 the 🍄 needed to tackle that last hilly stretch to @therace_uc finish line!⚡️

Everyone cheered, danced, encouraged, hydrated, stretched, and whatever was needed to get runners to the finish line!
That is what 𝒄𝒐𝒎𝒎𝒖𝒏𝒊𝒕𝒚 is all about.

I am so 𝒈𝒓𝒂𝒕𝒆𝒇𝒖𝒍 to be a part of these two organizations!🤞🏾🫶🏾

𝑻𝒉𝒂𝒏𝒌 𝒀𝒐𝒖 to those who didn’t run, but woke up early to come cheer and hold it down - while everyone else was on the course. You all are appreciated!🙏🏾🫶🏾

A special shoutout to @saltstick. 𝑻𝒉𝒂𝒏𝒌 𝒀𝒐𝒖 for always keeping us🧂! You were a life-and legs-saver!🙌🏾

𝑪𝒐𝒏𝒈𝒓𝒂𝒕𝒖𝒍𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏𝒔 everyone!👏🏾🙌🏾
