This girl @natalee_bickham has been serving for a whole year! 🤩🥹💪🏼 She got two training experiences (including one with her brother Collin Bickham) She got to serve a service mission transfer (6 weeks) and stateside mission transfer (shout out to Colorado Denver North) and is rocking it hard in Japan (a country that has always spoken to her soul)! I don’t have words to describe the growth, grit, vulnerability, wonder and miracles of it all! It’s that time! Natalee is giving her farewell talk this Sunday @9AM beginning her 18 months as Sister Bickham serving the people of Kobe, Japan! If you know her, you know she started this journey at 14 when she started studying the Japanese language because she thought she’d serve there. She was born an old soul and I’ve absolutely loved every minute of being this girls mom. I thought it would be easier, up until this week, it seemed that way. But no, it’s still a sacrifice, my body is prepping once again to have a piece of my heart live away for long while. I know she’s ready and oh the growth and adventures that await for her! Learning to let go and cheer her on is stretching, if not uncomfortable for me but I’ll choose to count it all as joy, especially because we get to do this again for Collin in November! At least I got a few pictures of my double missionaries first! It was challenging but having my whole family on Utah’s highest peak was pretty incredible!
