If you’re planning your 2026 travels and want somewhere that feels exclusive without trying too hard, let me put you on to Oman 🇴🇲✨

Here’s why it deserves a spot on your travel list:

1️⃣ Insane landscape variety - deserts, turquoise wadis, dramatic mountains, and untouched beaches all in one trip.

2️⃣ Under-the-radar luxury - beautiful resorts, private desert camps, and world-class service without the crowds or flashiness.

3️⃣Culture that feels elevated, not staged - historic forts, stunning mosques, and architecture that actually reflects the country’s heritage.

4️⃣ Adventure + relaxation in perfect balance - sunrise hikes, spa afternoons, sunset dune dinners.

5️⃣Still feels exclusive - fewer tourists, peaceful energy

✨ Mini itinerary idea:

• 3 nights in Muscat: beachfront resorts, Grand Mosque, and a boat day to the Daymaniyat Islands
• Day trip to Nizwa forts: souk shopping, and mountain scenery• 2 nights in Wahiba Sands: luxury desert camp, dune sunsets, stargazing dinners
• 2 nights in Jabal Akhdar mountains: canyon views, cooler air, and cliffside resorts

Save this for your 2026 travel inspo ✈️

This one is for you HP fans! 🪄🧙‍♂️
✨Harry Potter Forbidden Forest✨

You get to cast your own Patronus spell, spot the flying car in the trees, and wander through glowing forest scenes that feel straight out of the movies. The trail ends in a little village where you can grab Butterbeer and other themed treats, and warm up before heading back out into the city.

This is a limited time event so don’t miss your chance. Tickets need to be reserved ahead of time online and are currently on sale! It takes about an hour to walk through but you can stay as long as you like. Hosted right in Vancouver’s beautiful Stanley Park 🌲

Wingardium Leviosa! 🪄

If Petra’s been on your bucket list, here’s what you should know before you go:
• Arrive early (or stay late) - the site is massive and the light is best before the crowds roll in
• The walk through the Siq takes ~20–30 minutes and is an experience in itself
• The Treasury is just the beginning, keep going to see the Street of Facades, Royal Tombs, and Monastery
• Expect a LOT of walking (wear decent shoes!)
• Local vendors sell water and snacks, but bring your own to stay hydrated
• Sunset hits different here 🌄

One of the most awe-inspiring places I’ve ever visited, photos truly don’t do it justice✨

✨ Why you should absolutely visit Jordan in 2026✨
I’ll admit, earlier this year I hesitated before booking my flight to Jordan. With conflict in the region dominating the headlines, I wondered if it was the right time to visit. But from the moment I landed, I felt totally safe, welcomed, and able to explore iconic wonders like Petra, Wadi Rum, and the Dead Sea with way fewer crowds than usual which is something you rarely get in peak travel years.

Tourism in Jordan dipped significantly in 2024 due to regional instability and travel hesitancy, especially around sites like Petra where visitors dropped by over 60% compared to previous years. But that also means now is arguably the best time to experience these bucket-list destinations in a quieter, more personal way before visitor numbers rebound and the crowds return to “normal.”

⸻

✨ 7-10 Day Jordan Itinerary ✨
📍 2 Days in Petra — Explore the Treasury, Monastery, and hikes with no need to rush. Also do Petra by Night.
📍 2 Days in Amman — Discover the Citadel, Roman Theater, local cafes and markets, and day trip to Jerash
📍1 day in Wadi Rum — stay in a desert camp and stargaze, ride a camel or go on a hot air balloon
📍1-2 Days at the Dead Sea — Float in the hypersaline waters & relax.
📍 Optional: 2 Days in Aqaba — Red Sea beaches, snorkeling/diving, or just unwind.

⸻

✈️ Jordan Travel Tips

🗓 Best Time to Go
• Spring (March–June) & Fall (Sept–Nov) for perfect weather — not too hot, not rainy.
• Summers can get very hot (especially June–August).

🌡️ Weather
• Petra & desert: hot summers, mild in spring/fall
• Amman: seasonal temps with colder winters
• Aqaba: warm almost year-round

💱 Currency & Payments
• Local currency: Jordanian Dinar (JOD)
• Cards widely accepted in cities, but cash is handy in smaller towns/markets.

🧠 Other Tips
• Consider the Jordan Pass — it bundles visa entry with access to major sites like Petra.
• Roads are good — renting a car gives you freedom to explore outside cities.
• Modest dress is appreciated in many areas.
• Petra & desert trails can flood in rainy season — always check local weather if planning hikes.

Staying at this camp in the desert was an experience that I couldn’t recommend more.

First of all, the bubble and the interior decorating! So many cool touches with the marble ceiling, chandelier and furniture. It felt so luxurious and unique. Being surrounded by these views and just taking it all in was an experience in and of itself.

The meals were great with lots of options from the buffet for breakfast and dinner although I do wish they had more authentic middle eastern options.

The camp runs activities that you can book like jeep desert tours, sunset camel rides and hot air balloons.

The best part for me was the stargazing - I have never seen so many stars in the sky with my own eyes. Being able to lie in our bubble tent and gaze up at the stars from bed was the coolest experience.

Staying in the desert is one of those experiences that doesn’t feel real until you’re actually there
∘ endless red sand stretching in every direction
∘ Martian-like mountains glowing at sunset
∘ the stillness… so quiet it almost hums
∘ waking up to the softest pink sunrise outside your tent
∘ nights filled with stars you didn’t know you could see with the naked eye

It’s peaceful, surreal, cinematic, and the perfect base before or after exploring Petra. There’s truly nothing like falling asleep in the middle of Wadi Rum and waking up feeling like you’re in an ancient world of your own. 🌙✨

If you love ancient history and places that look like they belong on a postcard… this is your place.

Here are my best tips to help you plan your visit:

🏛️ Inspired by an ancient Roman villa — marble courtyards, gardens, and ocean views
🎨 Stunning Greek & Roman art collections
🌿 The outdoor gardens steal the show
🎟️ Admission is free! Just make sure you reserve a timed entry ticket in advance
🚗 Paid parking onsite (or ride share if you want to avoid the headache)
⏱️ Plan for 2–3 hours to enjoy it fully
📍 The Getty Villa
🌊Located in Pacific Palisades — pair it with Malibu after!

Here are three must-visit restaurants in Los Angeles that you need on your list:

1️⃣ Yamashiro – Set atop the Hollywood Hills, this spot brings old-school glamour and sweeping views of LA. The Japanese-inspired menu emphasises sushi, nigiri, specialty rolls and elevated Japanese classics with a modern twist.
2️⃣ Alba – Tucked in West Hollywood, this Italian gem radiates chic simplicity. It’s known for fresh handmade pastas, wood-fired meats, focaccia with whipped ricotta and a scene that feels like an Italian vacation.
3️⃣ Bavel – A buzzy hotspot in the Arts District doing Middle Eastern / Mediterranean with serious flair. Its standout features: creamy hummus & baba ghanoush with blistered pita, slow-roasted cuts (like lamb neck shawarma), bold spreads and share-plates built for a group

Which would you go to first? 👀

One of my favourite places to visit near Vancouver because, just look how charming it is!

📍Fort Langley, BC — just 45 mins from Vancouver, and fun fact… it’s been featured in many movies & TV shows

✨ What to do:
• Wander through the Fort Langley National Historic Site and step back into BC’s early days
• Grab a latte and croissant at Blacksmith Bakery or brunch at Saba Café
• Stroll the main strip on Glover Road , full of cute boutiques and vintage shops
• Walk or bike the Fort-to-Fort Trail for peaceful river views
• Wrap up your day with a wine tasting at Chaberton Estate Winery or Backyard Vineyards nearby 🍷
