I was going to post these anyway because I’m so far behind on posts of America (I’m still in week one of November). Just ironic that these were pictures that were up next seeings today’s the day I fly home after the best 4.5 months of my life. Solo travelling since the start of September. 1 month across indo and 3 in the states.

I started this journey with the main objectives of finding out more about myself alone, seeing more of the world and becoming a lot more brave and independent. All the above has been achieved.

I’ve learnt so much about myself and experienced so many different experiences I never would have dreamt of experiencing. I’m such a huge advocate for solo travels now.

I’ve also met some incredible people along the way. People I refuse to let this goodbye be permanent with.

I’ve spent Thanksgiving and Christmas here in the states and practically made family, friends and just generally some amazing connections.

I’m sad to leave but as hard as endings are (and this is going to be friggin hard). I’ll just need to remind myself that this is just the end of this chapter in my life and there’s so many exciting ones to come. I’m so excited for this new and improved version of myself to launch into my next chapter now I’ve got a bit more clarity on what I want; I’m looking forward to start planning.

I’m going to be a mom 🥲🌸

This was quite possibly the biggest plot twist that rocked my world upside down.

I was petrified. I wasn’t ready. I wanted to build my business more. I wanted to travel more. I wanted to be married. My relationship was fairly new. And I found out the day after I was baptised- so a baby outside of marriage wasn’t something I had personally planned for, or something that aligned with how I thought my life was going to look.

Then one month later I got my keyhole surgery pre op apt to finally get my endometriosis diagnosis after waiting for years. I obviously had to cancel. There were SO many things whirling around my mind.

But ultimately, I chose love. I chose to love my partner. I chose to love my unborn baby. And now… I genuinely cannot wait for their arrival 🫶🏻

4 months down, 23 weeks to go on Monday- almost at the halfway point 😮🥹

We’re having a gender reveal party in 2 weeks to find out if we’re having a boy or a girl, and I cannot wait to take you along for this next chapter with me ✨🫶🏻💓

Bulgaria dump ✨

This was my first completely solo trip (I wasn’t planning on meeting anyone while I was away) in 3 years, so it was really special to me 🥹… despite the horror story on my final night 🥲

I truly found out a lot about myself when I went solo travelling in 2022 when I wanted to find out more about myself as an independent woman in my 20s, after choosing to be single for the first time in my adult life 😳

Three years (and a LOT of life) later, it felt really special to have that feeling again 🫶🏻

As much as I love travelling with the people I love- I also adore travelling by myself and it’s something I want to try and be able to do in the future no matter how that looks.

I decided to get a car for the entire trip this time, which meant I could see so much more of the country- from Plovdiv and Sofia to finally seeing a Bulgarian beach 🏝️

A little reminder that sometimes you need to go back to something you once loved to realise just how much you’ve grown since then 💓

Florida trip roundup 🏝️🇺🇸

Bonnie suggested the trip when I was going through a tough period. It was the best decision ever. I’m so grateful for the love and support I was blessed with back in 2022 to have found these connections🥹 Americans are always so hospitable and kind and I adore all of my connections I’ve made across the big pond 🇺🇸

This trip was the trip that helped me move from a Christian via faith to a practicing Christian. I went and visited a few churches in Florida and it made me want to find a home church of my own that I could regularly attend. Since then I’ve been baptised (which I will share) and I’ve been on a faith journey. Although I’m battling with a lot at the moment, I know I still have Jesus through it✝️

I spent half my trip working remotely and the other half experiencing and it was the best and I’m so glad I went 🫶🏻💓

The streets are always the prettiest in the USA 🇺🇸

I was about to embark on an 8 hour round trip, solo and driving on the right side of the road so I was feeling nervous and excited ✨

The first ever croc I’ve ever seen 🐊

I explored The Everglades as much as I could but unfortunately I forgot insect repellent and didn’t think that I’d be in marsh land with lil swamps there which are mosquitos fave places. I was stung to absolute death during a massive swarm of about 100. I am saving you from the graphic images and videos of my bites though😂
