We asked the historic characters at Black Country Living Museum what life was really like in the past 👀⁣
⁣
One of the best things about visiting BCLM is that you can meet characters in costume throughout the site, who stay fully in role while sharing stories and answering your questions about everyday life across different decades.⁣
⁣
From what things used to cost to what working conditions were like, it’s such a fun and interactive way to experience Black Country history.⁣
⁣
Be sure to visit with lots of questions.⁣

Eating our way through the Black Country Living Museum 🍴✨⁣
⁣
From traditional fish & chips and old-fashioned sweet shops to historic pubs and bakery treats, there’s so much more food here than I expected.⁣
⁣
The food just adds to the immersive experience while wondering through historic streets, so make sure you include this in your itinerary.⁣
⁣
Definitely worth adding BCLM to your weekend plans!⁣

You’re not going to believe this is in Birmingham 👀🌿⁣
⁣
Tucked inside the Botanical Gardens, this feels like stepping out of the city for an hour. Coffee, sweet treats, flowers in bloom and a genuinely calm spot to relax amongst the beautiful greenery🌷⁣
⁣
Definitely one to save to the ‘need to visit’ list for Birmingham especially if you’re looking for a calm escape.⁣

First goal of 2025 ☑️

Hosted my first ever ugc event which was a sell out & a huge success 🥹

What better way to kickstart the new year than with a vision board party, getting clear on your goals & everything you want to achieve within the next 12 months 💭✨

2024 was the year I started UGC, 2025 is the year to help others & connect creators within the industry 🫶🏻

With such incredible feedback I’m hoping this is the first of many more events to come 🤭 drop a ✨ in the comments if you want to attend the next one!
