Found an absolute gem of a waterfall today. Unexpected twist to the day meant I had to drag the kids with me but they loved every second and so did I 💚 taken in Melincourt Waterfalls by @beckybumbles

Some days are heavier than others — but I’m learning to carry the weight with a smile.
Isolation creeps in quietly, but I’m grateful for the good people who remind me I’m not alone.

In a world full of witches, be a Ghostface. 👻

Everyone’s posting their Season of the Witches pics, and I’m just here recycling last year’s mountain Ghostface because apparently I have to be different. 😂

The cloud inversion was fucking sick though. taken in Glyder Fawr by @beckybumbles

When you find one of the prettiest little villages in the Cotswolds.

Lower Slaughter is honestly gorgeous. I wandered through the village, stopped at the little church with its creepy gargoyles , then followed the river up to the old mill.

The whole walk is just ridiculously pretty, stone cottages, little bridges, the river running through the village… basically the Cotswolds showing off again. 😂

You can carry on towards Upper Slaughter from the mill, but I didn’t get that far this time.

Definitely adding this one to my list of places I’d go back to. 🤍 taken in Lower Slaughter, The Cotswolds by @beckybumbles

A little bit of India… casually dropped into the middle of the Cotswolds.

The estate was already here in the days of the Domesday Book in 1086, but in the early 1800s Sir Charles Cockerell decided that what it really needed was a full-blown Indian/Mughal makeover.

Having made his fortune with the East India Company, he commissioned his brother to create this incredible house inspired by the architecture of India, complete with onion domes, minarets, peacock-tail arches and a rather spectacular garden.

Basically, he loved India so much he thought, “Fuck it, I’ll just build my own.” 😂🇮🇳

And honestly… I respect the commitment. 🖤 taken in Sezincote Indian House & Gardens by @beckybumbles

Just casually popping into a Cotswolds church… and then it turns out to be giving full gothic fairytale vibes. 🖤

Why do old churches have to be this ridiculously beautiful?! Meanwhile modern buildings are out here looking like a Tesco Extra. 😭

Honestly, I could happily spend my days wandering around places like this, pretending I’m the mysterious woman in a period drama who definitely knows something everyone else doesn’t. 🕯️😂 by @beckybumbles

Just casually went to the Cotswolds today to find the entrance to Moria.

Okay… technically it’s St Edward’s Church in Stow-on-the-Wold.

But LOOK AT IT. 🌿🚪

Ancient yew trees, a medieval doorway and enough gothic fairytale energy to make me fully expect Gandalf to appear from behind a hedge.

There’s a local legend that this inspired Tolkien’s Doors of Durin, although there’s no proof of that.

Did I then make an AI version with the lantern lit because it looked more magical?

Obviously. 😂🕯️

Speak friend and enter.

…I’m still waiting for the door to open. 😂 taken in Stow On the Wold, Cotswolds by @beckybumbles

Sometimes life feels a little like this.

Dark clouds gathering, storms brewing, and your mind feeling like it’s caught somewhere between the calm and the chaos.

But looking at this reminded me of something … the storm doesn’t erase the beauty. The rain doesn’t change the colour of the sea. And even beneath the darkest clouds, there can still be light on the horizon.

Maybe that’s what getting through the difficult moments is sometimes about. Not pretending the storm isn’t there, but remembering that it isn’t everything.

There is still beauty in the storm. 🌊💙
