In Every Possible Way
By Alicia Thompson

After a terrible first date, Jess gets mugged and ends up falling and hitting her head. When she wakes up she finds herself across the ocean, in Ireland! With no recollection of how she got there, Jess spends the next 48 hours exploring Dublin and the Irish countryside, wondering if this is all real or if she's in a coma. She meets local mechanic Eamonn and as they grow closer she wonders if next time she goes to sleep, she'll end up waking up from this dream.

It is a sweet, magical romance with a little bit of spice. I loved watching Eamonn and Jess opening up, lowering their guard and falling for each other. Despite the timeline being only 48 hours, the pacing made it so it didn't really feel like insta-love. The virtual tour through Ireland made me want to book my next vacation ASAP ✈️ 🍀

🚨 New book alert 🚨

Three short stories make up Jeneva Rose’s new horror anthology, Sometimes I Scare Myself. I’d recommend this to anyone just starting to read horror. It is creepy enough to hook you but won’t really give you nightmares; the gore level is also mild🩸

I’d love to read more horror from Jeneva, I’ve enjoyed her thrillers and I hope she keeps exploring the horror genre 👻 🔪

✨ BOOK REVIEW: Extra-curricular by Rachel Lynn Solomon

Did I drive to Orlando to be able to meet @rlynn_solomon and get a signed copy of her latest book? Yes. Did I read this book two months ago, loved it and then not publish a review? Also yes! But, better late than never ☺️

I first read Rachel when I came across What Happens in Amsterdam and since then I've become a fan. Whether it's her YA or her Romances, I know that I will fall in love with her characters and Extra-curricular is no different.

A former pop-star decides to go to college and ends up falling for her divorced professor. I think Rachel executes this forbidden, age-gap relationship flawlessly: every one has a fully developed frontal lobe here, people 😉 and there's not really a power imbalance. Our main characters are both trying to overcome their own personal challenges and evolve into this new version of themselves.

Read this if you're looking for a cozy romance, with a tender-hearted MMC and a little bit of a black-cat FMC.
Oh also, he has a sl*tty little earring and glasses, and he washes her hair 😍

The Fate That Finds Us is the continuation to The Ties That Bind Us and I've decided to put my entire TBR in the trash so I can read this now!

If you haven't read The Ties That Bind Us, I recommend you pick it up! It doesn't have your run of the mill mating bond and magic is actually in the air. Plus: a broody villain that you'll end up loving! by @becomingabookworm_
