✨ STORYTIME ✨ part 2

I’m going to be honest with you, I almost made a BIG mistake 🙈

This order of Fields of Spring, my ACOTAR inspired soap, had the wrong ingredients listed on the label!!!!

I redesigned my soap labels and when I printed this batch I didn't update the ingredients on the template.

Soap makers are required to list ALL ingredients on the label (with the exception of fragrance). Not just for transparency but more importantly due to potential allergies or skin sensitivities.

This error could have cost me this customer’s trust in my products but luckily I caught it in time! And rest assured that I have now triple checked all other labels (and deleted old files 😅) to make sure it doesn't happen again!

I was wrapping an order of this ACOTAR inspired soap for a repeat customer. I had printed and cut all the labels ahead of time, and I thought everything was going smoothly... I was WRONG! Pretty soon I'd be unwrapping every single bar... Every. Single. One!🫧

✨ Second chance trope...in soap form 🫧

You've seen me bevel each bar of soap (those rounded edges just feel better!), but what do I do with the scraps?

Well, I mix them all, put them in a sisal bag and give them a second chance. Now I have a handy soap bag that I can use to wash my hands! Nothing goes to waste here!

This little soap bag is basically a second chance romance in action, all those leftover pieces coming together for a fresh new start. 💕
