an end of an era.

I left without all the answers. and for the first time, that felt like enough.

four years. one season that carried more weight than I knew how to hold at times - grief tucked inside of joy, growth hiding inside of confusion, triumph waiting on the other side of misery.

there were days my soul felt the kind of out-of-place that words can’t fully explain. days I questioned if God truly saw me. if this was it for me. but He was using every single moment - even the hard ones - as preparation for what was always mine to walk into.

He gave me this job as a resource. but He has always been my source. and i leave just as secure as i arrived - because my security was never in those walls.

this season gave me growth i didn’t ask for, lessons I didn’t see coming, and my sister @dosesofmeshe - whom I know I made a pit stop specifically for.

i’m not leaving with a perfect plan. i’m leaving with peace. with gratitude. and with a God who has never once let me figure it all out on my own.

here’s to what’s next. 🤍

first day of work 4yrs ago, pregnant and all and my manager didn’t know until that day😂

first work trip with pitting edema and a baby in my ribs. begged my boss to let me travel 😭

typical elevator photos because I couldn’t believe I was carrying a baby and at the job I was blessed with, in the field I went to college for - after 6 months of no job and 100s of applications.

D11… where it all started, with some of the best people I ever worked with.

last few meetings happening before my two weeks were up.

skeddd but did it anyway.

I remember coming here during my first two weeks to get my I-9 paperwork and badge photo taken

4 managers and one re-org later and a whole lot of experiencing the shenanigans and politics in corporate America 🙃 nonetheless, super grateful because it was God who placed me here. by @becomingsharde

10yrs ago today, at 18yrs old, we made the decision to ride this thang out. & what a 10yrs it has been. full of LIFE, lessons and love! what an honor it is that I GET to spend this life loving you, being loved by you, experiencing the joys and the sorrows, the goodness of God, watching you grow, building a life and a family with you, and allllll else.

the unsettling that can come with uncertainty forces us to relinquish control, & trust God with the unknown.

that, my friend… is not easy. but necessary. so, look at what you have right now in front of you - what you know to do with what you’ve got. do it. & trust God with the rest.

after all the noise of the day, i let her exhale. and then we find our moment.

patience is one of the fruits of the spirit i’ve struggled with most. and then i became a mama — and she became my mirror.

we’ve been winding down with @_readingcom and it’s been more than a reading tool. it’s been a front row seat to watching her get frustrated, try again, and sound out a word she didn’t think she knew.

i can’t manufacture that moment. i just get to be present for it.
