Hey Sis!
I’m Nikkia Raquel👋🏽, Founder of Becoming Thirty One, formerly known as BecomingHER (same heart, deeper calling✨)

What started as a simple “yes” to God has evolved into a faith centered community devoted to empowering women of Christ to become Proverbs 31:30 women who are rooted in reverence for God and confident in their God given purpose. Through intentional gatherings, workshops, mentorship, and local trips across New York, we create spaces where sisterhood is real, faith is active, and growth is celebrated. Our heart is to unite women under Christ, grow spiritually together, serve our communities, and boldly walk into ministry, discipleship, and leadership.

What started as a small idea turned into a spirit filled gathering, and words can’t explain the joy that has filled my heart. The tremendous amount of encouragement and love shown to me and to other women was so touching, as they testified of the power of God in their lives in such a heartfelt way. My heart was grieved for the young people who are not taking God seriously, leaving the church, and living life without truly acknowledging their Creator, often because they lack a dependable community to teach and guide them in the knowledge of God. Witnessing women come together to build such a community was deeply inspiring.

To my panelists, @amoree.s , @cierraa.janae @sbfaithonfire ,mahaliacaldwell and to @missy.jayda thank you, thank you! I can definitely say that Holy Spirit spoke wisdom through the panelists. God has shown me soo much through this experience and it definitely came with a lot of discouragement, but his will overcame it all. To BecomingHER , a blooming proverbs 31 woman 🥂you will always have a special place in my heart💗

Celebrating Women’s History Month with @becomingthirtyone
A Closer Look At Virtue:

‭‭Proverbs‬ ‭31‬:‭10“Who can find a virtuous woman? For her price is far above rubies.”
‬the Hebrew word for virtuous is “chayil.”
Meaning: strength, power, valor, capability

This word is also used to describe warriors & armies in the OT. Because armies require resources & strength, the word includes:
ability, competence, influence, wealth/substance

“Chayil” describes a woman with strength & CAPACITY to accomplish great things. She builds, leads, invests, & nurtures her household & community. Her faith isn’t shallow or built on aesthetics but followed by the demonstration of the Spirit.

Though righteous, Abraham had a wife that doubted God. David had a wife that mocked his worship. A virtuous woman is precious to find & completed through Jesus’ sacrifice. We have now been endowed with the Spirit of God. Equipped to attract divine favor through a life of Faith.

& interestingly, when Jesus says in Luke 8:46 that “virtue went out of Him,” the Greek word is dunamis — meaning power.
