“Do not let your adornment be merely outward—arranging the hair, wearing gold, or putting on fine apparel— rather let it be the hidden person of the heart, with the beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is very precious in the sight of God.”

Celebrating Women’s History Month with @becomingthirtyone
A Closer Look At Virtue:

‭‭Proverbs‬ ‭31‬:‭10“Who can find a virtuous woman? For her price is far above rubies.”
‬the Hebrew word for virtuous is “chayil.”
Meaning: strength, power, valor, capability

This word is also used to describe warriors & armies in the OT. Because armies require resources & strength, the word includes:
ability, competence, influence, wealth/substance

“Chayil” describes a woman with strength & CAPACITY to accomplish great things. She builds, leads, invests, & nurtures her household & community. Her faith isn’t shallow or built on aesthetics but followed by the demonstration of the Spirit.

Though righteous, Abraham had a wife that doubted God. David had a wife that mocked his worship. A virtuous woman is precious to find & completed through Jesus’ sacrifice. We have now been endowed with the Spirit of God. Equipped to attract divine favor through a life of Faith.

& interestingly, when Jesus says in Luke 8:46 that “virtue went out of Him,” the Greek word is dunamis — meaning power.

Comment “link” to shop this post! 🔗 thank you @becomingher.p31 for having me!

This was an amazing and powerful move of God! One key takeaway from this event for me was that there is so much POWER in your testimony. If you ever questioned or wanted to know the best way you can spread the gospel - start with letting others share about themselves, and then telling them what God has done for YOU! You don’t have to be a Bible scholar to spread the truth and @becomingher.p31 embraces all women at every stage of their walk.

If you are currently residing in NEW YORK tap in to this powerful women’s ministry!

Also, if you or someone you know is interested in having me come speak at their next event, my booking link is available in my bio “Book minister Cierra Janae for your next event” 🤍

Life still goes on without social media <3

August dumpy! So glad I listened to God and took a month off social media. It was well needed. I feel refreshed, more like myself, back to doing the things I love just for fun, stepped away from comparison and into purpose. I also want to say thank you to @becomingher.p31 for having me to come speak in New York!

If you’re in New York make sure you tap in to this powerful ministry for the woman of God!
