Hi! ✨🌈 There’s a lot of new people here, so let me introduce myself!

My name is Bee (like a bumble bee) Eigen. Pronounced like “again” but starting with the word “eye”.
I wear a lot of hats! Mom, partner, friend, musician, marketing copywriter, runner… the list goes on
I’ve been singing since I was a kid. I started taking singing lessons maybe around 6 or 7 yo, and it’s been my biggest passion (obsession??) for as long as I can remember
I also love vintage, thrifting, and fashion
In my 20s, I was in a 90s alt-rock cover band called BigEye (miss you guys!)
I started playing/teaching myself guitar in 2021 (before that I had never really picked up an instrument) (It’s never too late!)
I released my first single, Tears in Bed, that same year. It was something I had always dreamed about and it lit a flame of possibility for me
My first solo show was in Berkeley at the Study Hall Rooftop Lounge in May 2022. I was absolutely terrified.
Since 2022, I’ve performed 30 live shows at 18 venues and events across California (while working full-time and being a parent— no easy feat 😄)
I’ve released 5 singles and a 4-song EP. I’m currently working towards recording my debut album!
My partner and 3.5 year old daughter and I moved to the Northern CA foothills from the Bay Area in 2024 and we LOVE it
Dislikes include: working on sunny days, AI-generated music, microphone feedback, uncomfortable pants, mushrooms, flies & clutter
Likes include: being my daughter’s mom, writing songs, pizza, retail therapy (although bad for my bank account), live music, loud music, music to be joyful to, music to cry to, music

So happy that you’re here! My hope is to make music that heals me and moves you <3

The SeeStars of Song singer-songwriter showcase was one of the most magical events I have ever witnessed let alone curated and I could never have done this alone. Thank you to all of these amazingly talented women for showing up, helping out, and gracing us with beautiful performances that often moved the audience to tears and uplifted us all. I adore each of you and have loved connecting with you more as friends. And yes I do believe we should go on tour together--next stop Topanga! ❤️ by @beeeigen

Just a personal update that I won’t be able to make this Saturday’s @nevadacityfarmersmarket ! Please visit anyway, and show support to @koa_young and Triple Ought in the morning as well as all of the amazing vendors 💕

My show at @trailheadtavernnc has been pushed back to a later date when they officially open their doors.

See you all out there! by @beeeigen

In downtown Colfax, facing east, you behold the garden at dusk, the zinnias, dahlias and tomatoes towering above ground cherries, tomatillos and strawberries. An Aperol Spritz glows neon orange in your hand as you sink into an ivory loveseat, listening to the sweet soprano of @beeeigen and her guitar.

Reach your hand toward a silver platter laden with Italian-inspired bites and savor delicacies prepared by Chef Kallie of @snapdragonprovisions

An evening of garden beauty, Italian-inspired indulgence, and the unexpected pleasures of a summer night in Colfax.

Nearly 100 people gathered at Sierra Vista Community Center to support Colfax’s hidden gem, Outfielders’ Community Garden, for its third annual fundraiser, Aperitivo in the Garden. I wrote this song, “in summer” as a homework assignment for the @madicunningham @school_of_song class — if you’re a songwriter and have never taken a SOS class, I can’t recommend them enough. There is nothing more interesting to me than hearing how other people approach songwriting, and it brings me inspiration every time. This was my 8th class! Other classes I’ve taken included @robinpecknold, @adriannelenker, @miyafolick, and @perfumegenius — I’ve met so many incredible musicians and new friends through classes too 💕 @jules_n_ghouls convinced me to sign up for this one with her :)

Anyway, this one was inspired by a friend in the group chat complaining about there being fall stuff in the store already when we aren’t even through with August. Why are we always in such a hurry?
