BECOMING BEEFY: EP3 - The Rebrand. Is it really a rebrand if this has always been the point? Iā€™ve been thinking about this since 2022 after I graduated and was working some stupid office job and knew I wanted to start my own business. My whole life, flattering clothes have been my pain point. Nothing fit well, nothing made me feel like myself. Even after I started lifting, brands in the fitness space just didnā€™t really do it for me. So this is what @beefyclothing really is: not in the cute pastel Pilates world, not in the male-dominated strength space where women are the afterthought. Becoming BEEFY: EP2 This is how BEEFY came to be. Literally just wanted to be an opp to the whole emo trauma hustle-p0rn gym space but had no clue how to go about it. Was it absolutely delusional of me to quit everything and start a brand without knowing how to run a business? YES. Donā€™t recommend it. But was it necessary for me to fuck up and learn and figure out? YES. I donā€™t regret anything Iā€™ve dropped because it all helped me to be more clear with the brand and figure shit out. But can I 100% say I wear some of the things I drop? No lol. Theyā€™re still cool objectively but I donā€™t find myself reaching for it on the daily.
