Congrats to @morgo4321 for returning to her first half marathon since delivering Lena last year! She bounced back strong this year with consistent training and finished 21st female in the #evansvillehalfmarathon this morning. She had her third fastest HM time, finishing in 1:41:25.

What a cool experience seeing the race from the other side and getting to cheer on all the local area runners while volunteering first aid duty with my co-workers. So happy for everyone to have such a beautiful morning to run after all the heat this summer! taken in Evansville, Indiana by @beej_joyce

This blonde hair, blue eyed girl turned one yesterday. She has brought our family so much joy this past year. We are grateful that she has been such a happy and healthy baby and seems to enjoy sharing in the busy life of her 3 siblings as much as we have cherished her being a part of it. Happy Birthday, little girl!

Super shoe sale! Discounts if 50-70% off retail.

Backlog isn’t going anywhere for awhile since I’m taking some time off running.

If you’re looking for something for a fall Half or Full marathon, there are plenty of Men’s 9.5-10.5, but I also have some women’s sizes (Alphaflys, Zoom Flys and Terrex Ultra Speed Trail shoes).

Prices range from $70-$135

Post below if DM if interested. I have plenty of trainers too but just figured I’d post the carbon plated race shoes for now. by @beej_joyce

That’s a wrap on the MLB Draft Combine 2026.

This year, I was invited to join our experienced team of testers to help run some of the best prospective professional baseball players through a series of mobility, balance, and strength tests. The MLB knows how to run quite an operation, and I’m grateful to have shared in the experience with my colleagues across the sports/baseball-specific PT field.

Phoenix in June feels a little different than when I’ve visited for spring training testing in the past, but it’s always a refreshing opportunity to spend some time running on desert trails, even if it’s 110 degrees! taken in Phoenix, Arizona by @beej_joyce

Had to get my hit from a trail race this season! My first time in Brown County State Park was a success for the most part.

I took the W at the 15K at the DINO trail race despite almost getting taken out by an ankle sprain at the 10K mark and running the last 5K with an untied shoe lace. It’s always a challenge maintaining footing on the trails considering I’m a roadie most of the year. Fortunately, I managed to have stayed on both feet while keeping the throttle down for most of the race. Since I had a comfortable lead on second place, the 1000 feet of climbing and terrain variability posed the greatest obstacle before the finish line.

I overestimated my preparedness for this race, even though I shut down training pretty hard after Boston, and ended up quite sore for several days! There’s nothing wrong with pushing the limit and powering through nature every once in awhile though.

Landon did the untimed kids race but was likely the oldest of the bunch. taken in Brown County State Park by @beej_joyce

A 22-second PB in the 1600m at the Memorial feeder middle school track meet yesterday. I knew he was ready to make a big cut in time this meet but a 5:40 was unexpected! Keep it up, Landon. taken in Evansville, Indiana by @beej_joyce
