We do ages 3/4 in early learning centres up and till over 80 year old legends in beekeeping and gardening clubs!

We do small country town schools with as many students as they do teachers to corporate events with collins street companies 🤣

Calling all of WA Bees, there’s some new establishments in town! 🐝🏨

Thank you to everyone who showed up this morning for our first ever Bee Hotel Workshop with @beeman_workshops A.K.A @beesandblossoms.aus!

It was amazing to see the whole community come together to learn about our native Australian bees and how we can create safe nesting habitats in our own gardens and local environment🏡

Fun fact: WA has no native honey making bees - all our honey comes from introduced European honey bees 🍯

We hope you all had a great time and learnt something new, we’ll see you all at our November events - keep an eye on our Co-Exist app! 🌱

Today’s Bright Ecologists made native #beehotel’s with the legend himself, @beesandblossoms.aus 🐝🌸

@beeman_workshops hit us with some fast facts about #nativebees, #pollination, #flowering plants, crops & chocolate! 🍫

How gorgeous is this greenhouse too! Check out @burnetts_on_barney for your garden, honey, sweet treats & live music needs! 🍯

If you’ve got native bees in your garden, what have they made their nests out of?

Thanks to so many local legends for making this workshop possible 🙏 @anbaillawarrashoalhaven @beeinspiredco @burnetts_on_barney @paperbark_native_bees @growingillawarranatives @illawarraenviro_net @bionet.uow taken in Dharawal Country by @beeman_workshops

One of my favourite workshops to date, working with Broughton House Youth Refuge legends!

Broughton House is located in Albury and provides crisis accommodation for up to 6 young people aged between 15 and 18 years old, as well as outreach support for young people aged between 15 and 25.

Looking to do more workshops with 12-25 year olds in regional NSW in the next few months!

Please reach out, the workshops are free taken in Albury, New South Wales, Australia by @beeman_workshops

Wanna save the world? Start in your own backyard! 🌱

@beesandblossoms.aus is an incredible Aussie environmental advocate, native bee researcher and young leader showing us how to show up for nature!

To round out #biodiversity month, we’re bringing Clancy to the ‘Gong to show you how to make your own native #beehotel & learn about creating habitat for pollinators 🐝

Then! We’ll have a special screening of the film he directed, 7 Seasons, showcasing the Traditional Knowledge of our changing seasons kept strong by young leaders, backed by climate scientists 🍃

Clancy creates impact through both social and traditional media, holding politicians to account & sharing his infectious love for nature ❤️‍🔥 for any young people wanting to make a difference for the world, don’t miss the chance to pick Clancy’s brain 🧠

Make your own native bee hotel, learn about the kinds of plants that make our little pollinator friends happy & create a thriving habitat for biodiversity in your backyard! 🐝

@beeman_workshops @beeinspiredco

Learn about the shifting signs of our seasons from Indigenous leaders, hear from climate scientists about how those patterns are shifting & be inspired by young people at the forefront of protecting our planet 🌏

7 Seasons is a short film directed by @beesandblossoms.aus, a native bee researcher making waves on social and traditional media, holding politicians to account on protecting nature and committing to the bit to engage new audiences with conservation ☀️ taken in Dharawal Country by @beeman_workshops

Term 3 Bees and Blossoms workshops with Clancy Lester @beeman_workshops and Emily Lange @riverconnect complete.

Tatura Primary School, Murchison Primary School, Toolamba Primary School, Greater Shepparton Secondary School, Sacred Heart Primary School, Harston Primary School and a homeschool student participated in hands on pollinator education workshops at our local rivers and wetlands, collaboratively making native bee hotels to install at school gardens. We have had an absolutely bee-utiful time out in nature this term.

Thanks to all the teachers and schools for bringing their students along.
Special mention to Greater Shepparton Lighthouse Project @gslighthouseproject for funding these sessions. by @beeman_workshops

Such a fantastic program to be a part of @riverconnect where the aim is to run environmental workshops, but not in the classroom…along rivers and at waterways!!!

Thanks for your help Emily with the sessions making bee hotels taken in Goulburn River by @beeman_workshops
