THREE INCREDIBLE DAYS. ONE IMMENSELY PROUD FATHER. ❤️

What an absolute privilege to welcome Robbie Kruger from Origins, a globally respected name in hunting and wildlife conservation, for three days hosted and guided by my son Jack of BG Deer Management Services (BG DMS).

For me, the most incredible part wasn’t simply having someone of Robbie’s standing with us. It was standing quietly behind the camera, watching my son at work.

Watching Jack confidently share his remarkable knowledge of the ground we manage, the deer, their movements, where and when they would appear, and identifying individual animals that needed harvesting — and explaining exactly why.

Time and again, his predictions were spot on.

To see someone so young demonstrate that level of fieldcraft, understanding and professionalism alongside a man of Robbie’s international experience was genuinely humbling.

On the final evening, Jack prepared and cooked a beautiful roe deer fillet from a deer Robbie had harvested under his guidance. From field to fork — a perfect reflection of respect, conservation and responsible deer management.

As a father, there are moments you never forget. Standing back, filming and watching Jack share knowledge that has taken years of dedication to acquire was one of mine.

Jack, I couldn’t be prouder of the young man and professional you’ve become.

Robbie, thank you for your time, encouragement and for making these three days so special.

Three days. A lifetime of memories. And a father bursting with pride. @berettaofficial @rwshunting @steineropticsusa @kuiueurope @kuiu_official

🔹 Modern deer management deserves a modern working environment!

🔹 Our Larders are designed for smooth movement and efficient work-flow.

🔹 With rail systems, remote hoists and, often, in-line track scales they allow you to easily move and handle carcasses throughout the entire process, from unloading to the finished product.

🔹 If you're planning to build or upgrade your own Larder, get in touch to chat through your operational requirements.

#bgfoundations using the @gundogapp. Holly has been trained using the Gundogapp since she was 8 weeks old. She is now 2.

The power of “leave”when taught the BG way using the Gundogapp and the reward based principles

This is warm game that Holly flushed and picked 10 mins earlier.

Putting the bird to good use by executing some further drills.

Holly is sat up. The bird is thrown behind her and she is told leave.

She is given the BG Positive Stop whistle followed by the BG Back Hunt whistle.

She turns 180 and starts hunting the area behind her. She holds the area beautifully, all the time ignoring the warm bird. She gets her reward of the BG Heavy Scent Ball.

2nd Winner in Open Class (segrar klass SE) at Flen today! 🥈🇸🇪🥳

A proper day in the field with plenty of rain, wind and one very keen little cocker! 🌧️💨

She was certainly fired up and ready for the job, giving it her all as always.

And judging by the look on her face, she’s rather pleased with herself – especially with that lovely pink rosette! 🎀💗
