“Where did you get loaded today?”

“Laredo, Mexico.”

The BOL listed Tuesday as the load date. So I asked him plainly: Was it today or last Tuesday?

He answered today again.

A different date on the paperwork is a reason to ask the next question—and listen closely to the answer.
