2025 was so good to me:

❤️read 150 books (my goal was to read “only” 70 so I could focus more on writing and other things, but the world is on fire and I needed the constant distraction so I went a little over 💁🏼‍♀️😂)

🧡wrote my second novel (currently in beta reading)

💛had a road trip with @bookmarked_by_sarah to spend the best weekend with @emmievale.writes @emilies.books

💚I drank wine with @4theloveeofbooks @megansreadingnook @itsjustmar___ @alliechaseschapters (and yes they are just as cute in IRL)

🩵numerous meet ups and book shopping hauls with @bookmarked_by_sarah

💙was able to chat in person with so many great authors including @lyssakayadams and @kate_robb_writes

💜surpassed the 10k milestone on bookstagram

🩷attended a writers workshop

🤍I started writing my next novel (already 15k words in)

🖤 had meet ups with @chaptersofprea and @lisalitlounge

I’m excited to see what I can accomplish and all the bookstagram friends I will meet in 2026🥰 by @behappyreadbooks

❤️you’ll be the death of me- this was such a fun one! Second chance at its finest! Binged in a day.

🧡only one island- forced proximity, second chance, Ireland based. I’ll read anything she writes

💛trust issues- work place romance, forced proximity, enemies to lovers 👩‍🍳 💋

💚city people- loved the characters and it’s a great enemies to lovers

🩵rabbit rabbit- right person, wrong time. Multiple timelines. Binged in a day 10/10

💙just my luck- marriage of convenience-normally I don’t like that trope but this was 😮‍💨👏🏻

💜what not to do on vacation (🎧)- the narrator was so good and I loved the multiple POVS. Quick read.

🩷in stormy weather- best friends brother, close proximity 😮‍💨👏🏻 🧑‍🍳 💋

I feel like I have been spiraling and it needs to stop💁🏼‍♀️

Focusing on the good this week:
🩵hubs is going with me to my favorite hot yoga class tonight🥰
💙 @yelhsa.treniew and I get to relive our high school days and see dashboard confessional on friday🥳
🩵my boy starts 1st grade wednesday and is going to do great & we get to meet our daughters teacher (check in on me on Wednesday 😅😭😑)

🚨‼️last week of summer *😩😭

last year i reallyyy struggled w my oldest going to kindergarten and this year my youngest is going to preschool (part time, but still 😭 #SAHMprobs) soooo i am spending this last week (+3 days) trying to be more intentional with the kids because my mom guilt is raging these days 🙃💁🏼‍♀️

I’m going to be using @getpausebox to make sure I spend more time away from my phone to enjoy the last drop of summer ☀️ i always say “I’m going to spend less time on my phone” and then find myself picking it up and scrolling without me really realizing it 😂 so i need to be physically locked out for hours at a time 💁🏼‍♀️🤪
