GNR? Completed it mate!

Really enjoyed the run this year and thank you to @fordy_runs @fordyrunsrunningclub @startfitnessuk for the shakeout run, podcast, useful tips for the day and the discount off new running trainers. Thank you @brooksrunninguk for the AMAZING running shoes which my ankles, knees and hips are very grateful for (also wore these for the first time to run a half marathon with no blisters AND THIS IS NOT AN AD!!) thank you also to @monkeysox_org for the most comfortable running socks going (also not an ad)

My fave run snacks and gels are @chiacharge and @protein_rebel (not an ad, just telling you what I love and find helpful)

Lush to see @gnrtynebridge didnt manage to catch @tony_the_fridge AGAIN!

Thank you to all the lovely runners I chatted to at the start, through the race, at the end. The crowd!! Thanks for the water guns, the hoses, the power washers, the orange slices, the fizzy sweets and the ice pops.

THANK YOU to everyone at @great_run and all the volunteers who make this amazing day possible!

And finally if you have read this far down, thank you from the bottom of my heart for everyone that has donated to @braintumourrsch in memory of my wonderful Dad. I am so moved by your kindness and the team have raised well over £25,000 which is just amazing from one race. Thank you so so much! I will leave my link in my bio for a week if anyone else would like to donate.

Oh and thanks to @wetherspoonsofficial for the shelter from the storm for @yeiarah and I when we were stranded for 5 hrs in South Shields 😆

Had some requests to break down this choreo from Wannabe by the Spice Girls so people can learn and practise from home.

Not something I’ve done before but would be happy to share on YouTube. 😁 lemme know if you want it 🕺🏻

Couldn’t think of a better way to spend the afternoon than learning about Traditional Chinese Medicines, drinking tea and eating Dim Sum and Dessert. We got to make our own concoction and decorate a tea pouch which was really fun. The peony pastry with red bean filling (pictured near the end) were handmade with love over many hours and so pretty. I’ve never been a fan of red bean but these were really nice. Buttery biscuit perfectly balanced with red bean. What a great experience! TCM is something I’m really interested in and may do something with in the future 😆 Thanks @35csupperclub. Had the best time and highly recommend for anyone looking to do something a bit different. Will be trying your actual supper club soon 😋 by @behippyfit
