This weekend is your last chance to see @jennyallnuttart’s show, Melencolia, in person. Melencolia is an exhibition of new paintings exploring the relationship between melancholy, beauty and creativity. Taking inspiration from Albrecht Dürer’s engraving Melencolia I, Allnutt draws on her own experiences, weaving surrealism, myth and symbolism into richly detailed oil paintings that find moments of hope within the darkness. #jenniferallnutt #darkart #beinartgallery by @beinartgallery

This week is your last chance to see @hannahflowers_art’s show, North of Earthly Reason, in person. North of Earthly Reason is an exhibition of new paintings by Hannah Flowers, leading viewers along a thrilling and perilous road from the infernos of hell to forgotten isles, alchemists’ dens and secret gardens. Mythic beasts rise from the mist, while friends and foes emerge along the way. #hannahflowers #darkart #beinartgallery by @beinartgallery

This week is your last chance to see the “Demons in the Spring,”, our group show curated by @hannahflowers_art. The works can also be viewed and purchased online. 🔗 Link in bio Demons in the Spring is a group exhibition curated by Hannah Flowers that invites artists to explore the unease moving through a season of beauty. Here, demons may appear in their most literal forms or linger as subtler visitations, a shift in mood, a whisper in the undergrowth. Spring unfolds through delicate blooms, choking vines and fleeting shifts of light, revealing how beauty and disquiet often grow side by side. #demonart #darkart #beinartgallery by @beinartgallery
One of my favourite paintings from my recent solo exhibition @beinartgallery MELENCOLIA 🥀🥀🥀 ‘Corpse Flower’ 2026 Oils on Aluminium Composite Panel 22x26cm Melencolia will run from Oct 4th - Oct 25th 2026, and will coincide with @hannahflowers_art Hannah Flowers’s North of Earthly Reason, and the group exhibition, Demons in the Spring - Curated by Hannah Flowers. You can view the entire show online- link in my bio! 🖤🖤🖤 Amorphophallus titanum or the titan arum OR colloquially known as the corpse flower- this distinctive plant, painted here, originates from Indonesia and Sumatra. It is known for its powerful scent of rotting flesh to attract pollinators. It can take up to ten years from seed, for the titan arum to reach the ‘inflorescence’ stage. This appearance of the Corpse Flower only lasts for roughly 48 hours before it sort of deflates and then subsequent inflorescence is roughly three to seven years! The tuber is the largest of any flowering plant and can weigh up to 90-120kg! I just love knowing this plant exists and one bloomed this year in my hometown of Adelaide in the botanic gardens! I felt of all the plants in the world perhaps it was this one which was the most melancholy. It combined the feeling of wonder and awe with a sense of creeping dread. Its disgusting smell, intertwined with its bizarre beauty and linked with its rare inflorescence- fills me with amazement and melancholy in equal measure. by @beinartgallery
