ARCHITECTURE OF ORIGINAL WEALTH 2026 Oil on canvas, brush and palette knife 50 × 70 cm From the collection “Portals and Codes of Original Abundance” Sooner or later, there comes a moment when wealth ceases to be merely an external image and becomes a question about the very structure of our perception. What do we call wealth? Where does it begin? And why do we continue to separate what we experience within ourselves from what we recognise as real in the world? This is the space I sought to enter through this work. The face emerges from a network of lines, forms and precious stones expanding into the surrounding space. Gold, green and turquoise create a perceptual structure in continuous relation with what surrounds it. The gemstones introduce the concrete dimension of wealth: matter, value, possibility, the tangible reality of things. Their presence, however, calls into question the separation between inner wealth and material wealth. With her eyes closed, the figure does not search for wealth outside herself. She is immersed in a structure in which the boundary between inner and outer begins to dissolve. Lines and forms become perceptual patterns and codes through which experience is organised and recognised. And a question emerges: what if wealth and lack were not two separate realities, but two poles of the same mode of perception? For me, this is the Architecture of Original Wealth. The work emerges from lived experience, rather than from the illustration of a predetermined idea. Through the act of painting, through gesture, colour and form, the image revealed itself. This process belongs to my research within KVANTOMORFISM — an artistic investigation into perception and consciousness, and into the way what we live takes shape in our perception of reality. Painting does not offer a definitive answer. It opens a space in which a question can become direct experience. One of my favourite paintings from my recent solo exhibition @beinartgallery MELENCOLIA 🥀🥀🥀 ‘Corpse Flower’ 2026 Oils on Aluminium Composite Panel 22x26cm Melencolia will run from Oct 4th - Oct 25th 2026, and will coincide with @hannahflowers_art Hannah Flowers’s North of Earthly Reason, and the group exhibition, Demons in the Spring - Curated by Hannah Flowers. You can view the entire show online- link in my bio! 🖤🖤🖤 Amorphophallus titanum or the titan arum OR colloquially known as the corpse flower- this distinctive plant, painted here, originates from Indonesia and Sumatra. It is known for its powerful scent of rotting flesh to attract pollinators. It can take up to ten years from seed, for the titan arum to reach the ‘inflorescence’ stage. This appearance of the Corpse Flower only lasts for roughly 48 hours before it sort of deflates and then subsequent inflorescence is roughly three to seven years! The tuber is the largest of any flowering plant and can weigh up to 90-120kg! I just love knowing this plant exists and one bloomed this year in my hometown of Adelaide in the botanic gardens! I felt of all the plants in the world perhaps it was this one which was the most melancholy. It combined the feeling of wonder and awe with a sense of creeping dread. Its disgusting smell, intertwined with its bizarre beauty and linked with its rare inflorescence- fills me with amazement and melancholy in equal measure.
