I failed at going viral in my 11 years of creating.
To some, that's a failure.
To me, that taught me where to pivot, where to go hard on (and where not to).

What changed wasn’t the outcomes, but the definition of success itself. It stopped being about attention and started being about sustainability, autonomy, and building something that could support the way I actually want to live.

Quiet progress. Long-term thinking. Work that matters even when no one is watching.

1. If I'd never tried skiing and torn my ACL from a nasty fall, I would've never felt how freeing it is to glide into a never-ending white abyss.

2. If I'd never dated the "wrong" guys, how would I have known what love can truly feel (and not feel) like?

3. If I'd never spontaneously invited my "surf instructor" on a trip with me to Mexico, I wouldn't have done a full year of travels around Latin America, and discovered a region that stole my heart.

4. If I'd never quit my job to work in a small town called Fox Glacier in NZ, how would I have known the peace and healing that living in nature can offer?

5. If I'd never fostered a pregnant cat in Peru and witnessed her birth, how would I have known I was capable of such overflowing, unequivocal love?

If I never did the things that scared me, how would I have known what an amazing life this world could possibly offer?

Sometimes things look fine on paper, but don’t feel right within you.

You’re doing what you’re supposed to do.
Nothing is clearly wrong.
But something feels off.

Starting again usually doesn’t come with clarity.
It might mean you move before you feel ready, and figure things out along the way.

It might not make sense to other people.
Sometimes it won’t even fully make sense to you yet.

But that doesn’t mean it’s the wrong direction.

Solo travel changed more than where I went.

It changed what I value.

Things that used to feel important started to matter less, keeping up, looking successful, following timelines that didn’t really suit me.

Other things started to matter more, peace of mind, freedom, time well spent, and making choices that actually feel right.

Sometimes being in a different environment helps you see your own life more clearly.

You don’t always come back with big answers.
Sometimes you just come back knowing yourself a bit better.
