Just returned from a trip that was filled with so many Mindful Moments. Here are some that really struck me. San Fran, Sonoma, & Napa Valley are filled with so many opportunities to be mindful of nature, beauty, great wine and wonderful food. My phone didn’t come out much but taking these pics helped me remember to notice, to be present, and to “be where your feet are” ❤️#mindfulmoments by @beliveyogakids

And just like that it’s time for year 5 at Syracuse University! Teaching here was not something that I dreamed of or even thought of. But when the call came I took a leap of faith and said yes and I’ve never looked back! Teaching HFS 452 Mindfulness for Children & Youth to students of all majors and backgrounds is one of my absolute favorite things! And this year I’m also teaching a First Year Seminar course for freshman and transfer students. So excited and so grateful I said Yes five years ago! by @beliveyogakids

8 years ago today my family’s life was forever changed in a sudden, unexpected way. There have been so many emotions felt and lessons learned since then. Today as I look at the beautiful lilac bush we planted in honor of my dad I am filled with love and a reminder that life is brutal and beautiful (#brutiful) and keeps going on. This lilac bush is more beautiful this year than ever! Thx for the reminder that life is beautiful Dad! Love you ❤️💕 by @beliveyogakids
