Nine months in, nine months out 🦋

Every time I want to write something about Mara, about watching her grow and smile and climb, watching the sun hit her sparkling blue eyes, I am struck by how ineffective words can really be. Each day, each moment, is a gift beyond compare. by @ben.b.friend

🍒🌸Mara Louisa Briggs🌸🍒

One week ago today, on May 8th, we welcomed our daughter Mara into the world, though I believe we became parents on that late August afternoon when we found out that she was with us. And, in actuality, I believe she has been within me – within us – forever. Our dreams have come true! She came to us not a week late, but exactly when she was supposed to. We are already so proud of her, and honored to be her parents.

If you really want to feel special, I highly recommend having a baby 1 week before Mother’s Day – double whammy of love! So grateful to have so much support from so many 💓 by @ben.b.friend
