Sharing some stills from ‘Cross Stitch’ following its first festival selection at @madeinsussexfest. Great to screen locally at the wonderful @lewes_depot. ‘A single father, struggling to communicate with his son, finds another way to reconnect — hoping not to repeat the mistakes of his own past.’ Grateful to @rohumdilley and the rest of the @hawklondon team, @mackenzietaylor_colour and @alexcarswell_ at @electric_colour @electric_theatre_collective, the folks at @greenkitlondon, @zachaydnjones, @eley_joel and our camera and lighting team, for their trust and generosity behind this. 1/2 Some stills from ‘Cherry B’. Can’t thank @ornellahg and @valerie.hawthorn enough for the trust to shoot this on 16mm. The references, period and story called for it, and together with everyone’s work, it really helped build this gritty but sometimes glamorous world we were going for. Huge thanks to @mcx_films for the immaculate 416 and rest of the kit, and special thanks to @gabriellescobie for the faultless loading, meaning all 3000+ft of rushes came back without issue! @omhg.films presents Cherry B @cherrybshortfilm Cast: Mary @madamjoojoo Lilith @delilahbradley001 Jean @toributlerhart Sheila @leah_baskaran Ruby @gemmahreynolds Gwen @kimberleyverana Gwen’s Bf @tommarkwick Crew: Directed by @ornellahg Written by @valerie.hawthorn Produced by @valerie.hawthorn Director of Photography @benedwarddp 1st AD @camilla_l 1st AC @gabriellescobie 2nd AC @el_harrison Gaffers @my.name.is.leon Production Sound Mixer gerardo.pr.audio 1st AS @_sxphie_x_x Production Designer @valerie.hawthorn & Elaine Rosemary Deuchars Costume Designer @kathryncaseyburnett Key Hair & Makeup Artist @greicirosaofficial Hair Assistant @kathryncaseyburnett Production Assistants @boehm.films Location Elaine Rosemary Deuchars Bird Wrangler Gemma Cockwell Photography @kimberleyverana Editor @ornellahg Additional Editor @sam_holding Graphic design @valerie.hawthorn & @ornellahg Colourist @benedwarddp Camera & Grip Equipment @mcx_films Shot on @kodak 16mm @kodak_shootfilm by @ben.geddes.dp
