Good things come to an end. The Cavendish, CAV and latterly known as ATIK prior to its final closure has finally been demolished and will make way for student housing. Yet another skeleton to join the councils closet of venues that have been allowed to be lost to time.

Once these venues are gone, they’re never coming back.

A chronically mismanaged venue space by its owners in which they could have done a lot more with a venue of that size and capacity.

Very grateful to have worked with a fantastic team which saw it through to the end, photographing its final night before permanently closing.

Back in 2020, me and True Note dropped Lost Routes.
No rap features. No safety net. Just music.

With Geoffrey Williams on vocals and Chris Greive on trombone, it was the first time I fully trusted the direction I was heading in, even though I was still figuring it out.

The people who really mattered were the ones who listened properly.
You made this album move.
