Massive thanks to @d__watkins of the @goldcoastwakepark for inviting me out to the @thewwa in the Goldie. The opportunity to display @foildrive to the wakeboarding world was epic and to have such incredible help from all the QLD FD crew that came to hang out. Special mention to @tony_france and BJ for making the connection to Dan and Scotty and @joelwing @wingproshop and family for putting me up and dealing with all the gear during the week and setting up tents etc!

Memories and experiences of a lifetime sharing the water, dinner and drinks with legends of a sport all bases on fun toys and good times. Very grateful for the opportunity and new friendships! taken in Gold Coast Wake Park by @ben_cruisin

Not too often your old man and your lil bro get to fly you to the Gold Coast for dinner.

@virginaustralia orginised a 4 day trip for them to operate together so Caitlyn, Mum and I jumped a flight or two with them for the day.

Sound on for boomer dad tellin the whole flight how stoked he is to have his son in the right hand seat with him.

Merimbula Classic 40th year was a hell of a time! So good to be showcasing @foildrive on the east coast and seeing so many people all enjoying their watersports.

Can't wait for next year already!

Learning to Down Wind Foil has been a hella good time. Its bloody hard work even with a motor and kinda sketchy but super good fun!

This is not surfing. Its flying a hydrofoil. This is not at a normal surf break. This is 1km offshore when the wind is blowing 20knots along the coast. You are riding the energy caused by wind over water. How bloody cool is that! This run was 7kms along the coast of Adelaide just before christmas.

Sure i have a @foildrive electric motor to help me get started but this whole clip is purely powered by my foil harnesing the energy from the wind chop.

Summer weekends with mates.

We all have pretty tricked up forbies with all the touring and camp gear.

But this weekend was different.

We sat on the sand, with a fire in the middle, no tables or chairs or phones or distractions.
It was just the beach, the mates and propper conversations, laughs and connection.
We played hacky sack with a seaweed ball, we shared stories and talked shit.

When one person got hungry, they made food and shared it. Was an all night slow meal of half a bite of jaffle iron here and a spoonful of spag bog there.

I'm so torn between
1. Being a bum living on a remote beach somewhere catching lunch 20m away.
2. Hustling and making shit happen so I can be a bum on a remote beach forever.....

I just wanna live in my cruiser again and travel to where I want to be and be bloody warm! Is that really too much to ask!? 🤣
