Having shot a collection of rotating nuggets for the latest @mcdonaldsuk Side Missions project, @bencolson and I built this screensaver easter egg based on the classic 90’s DVD Menu. We tracked the way that logo moved and changed colour swapping it instead for a change of McNugget shape with each bounce of the wall. The sense of anticipation as it rolls to a corner for the sumptuous yet allusive double bounce is very real. Ben (who has done the extreme heavy lifting on the tech side) programmed it to work with a menu where we could change from the starry Side Missions esque background, effect McNugget size and speed and even a potential retro style juttering the movement. It now rolls on all our monitors on set when we shoot McD to keep everything on brand. by @bencolson

I’m delighted to finally share “Feel Good Food” with you all. It’s been a long time coming and I’m really proud of an incredible team who have brought it together. After launching Jelly last year it was important to once again bring something joyful and human. This is a celebration of small moments in food that just feel good. Unusually less about taste and hunger, but instead all about texture and still pulling the strings where your brain fizzes and pops.
