Black and white summer part 1. Shot on some cameras with some black and white film. I don’t remember what ones or what kind. by @bendostew

In early August we had the absolute pleasure of taking care of two of the sweetest little pugs in the mountains of Utah. We spent a couple of weeks balancing remote work, hiking, dog walks, dinosaur museums, swimming and just exploring new towns and places. This batch shot on my trusty Nikon F3 and some mix of black and white films. by @bendostew

Here’s a smattering of shots from Napa California on 35mm. I didn’t shoot a lot while we were there for some reason…same old weird expired film, same old weird Mamiya 35mm. #napa #mamiya #35mm #weirdoldfilm by @bendostew

If you haven’t heard of the Pacific Northwest Live Steamers, then you are missing out. A good time is always had. Shot with weird old film that I really like on a Mamiya NC1000s. #mamiya #35mm #shadydelltrainpark #pacificnorthwestlivesteamers by @bendostew

It’s been such a pleasure watching this woman seamlessly become the best mother anyone could imagine. @gwendoham we couldn’t do it without you. by @bendostew

Spring road trip adventure download alert. This time we jetted off to Napa CA, my old stomping grounds. I lived there almost 20 years ago for a strange whirlwind of a year before moving north to where I finally settled in. It was lovely to see old familiar faces and show where I used to live to the two I love the most. Shot digital for the first time in about a year, but forced myself to atone for that by only using a 65 year old Minolta 58mm 1.4 Rokkor lens on it the entire time with a yellow filter. #sonya7s #minolta58mm #yellowfilter by @bendostew

Another coastal adventure, this time on 35mm with the ol’ Mamiya. Roll #1 of 3. Shot on a 20 or so year old roll of bulk loaded Ultrafine. Super cheap film but I like the hazy halation thing going on with it.

Had the absolute pleasure of spending some time at the Coast with my parents. Thought I’d celebrate the occasion by throwing a few rolls of Kodak B&W through the Rolleiflex. Some of this Tri-X I shot was more than 4 decades expired and, despite some weird emulsion spots here and there, held up remarkably well with some added stops of light. #blackandwhite #kodak #rolleiflex #oregoncoast #tlr by @bendostew

Probably the last batch of film from our trip a few months ago. This time from Morocco, shot on the Bronica 6x6 with the same grab bag of long-expired film stocks. The colors are wild and free, and I haven’t attempted to control them too much because they are beautiful the way they are, in my opinion.

Photographing in Morocco with a giant mound of a camera was an interesting challenge, one I’m not sure I’d repeat, though I’m glad that I did it now that I’m on the other side of it. #bronica #morocco #kodakportra #fujinpz #fujiprovia by @bendostew

Here’s another few medium format shots, this time from Greece. Just a few days in Athens as a short layover.
Again, the colors are whacked out because it’s 20+ year old film. I think these are Fuji NPZ800.
