A wandering soul, never knowing its path,
Never knowing its place, always turning back.
Never feeling complete, often feeling alone,
Yet holding on to hope of one day finding its home.

Along came this light, shining its beauty on this soul,
A stirring inside, a feeling of being whole.
This soul was ignited by a soul so pure,
The love of a lifetime, a feeling like never before.

This soul now feels complete, when it thought it too late,
This radiant soul proving to be its true mate.
Soulmate is a phrase that means two souls intertwined,
I truly believe, to find mine, all the stars had aligned.

You’ve bestowed upon me a life I once only dreamed could be,
This soul now has its purpose, no more feeling lost at sea.
This soul now has a home, and that comes down to you,
This soul has a family, a wife and his boys times two.

So thank you for igniting life back into this lost soul,

41 years of you, @benj.hanson 🤍🎉💫

I haven’t known you for all of those, but it’s like my soul has known you forever. You carry the weight of our world on your shoulders (and by weight I mean our 28lb baby.) You are humble, patient, kind, and such an incredible father. You make us laugh, you make me coffee, and you make our boys feel so loved + so safe. You’re pretty much what dreams are made of, and today we celebrate you. 🤠🎈

I wouldn’t be half the man today if it wasn’t for my mum.
She showed me how and what it takes, to really love your son.
She’s kind and sweet and nurturing, the purest soul of all.
And today we celebrate our wonderful mum and Nana, with Prosecco and Aperol.
The boys are so blessed to have you, a woman made to be a mum and nanny,
You fill their hearts with love and support and fill the bellies with so much candy!
Mum, you gave us life and have been there through thick and thin,
Your love eclipses any hard time, you’ve always picked us up again.
I hope today you know how loved you are, the family Matriarch,
Saying Fandabbydosey, has become somewhat of a trademark.
So here is to your 21st, I guess this is how it will be from now on,
It’s not for me to tell the world, it’s your 70th trip around the sun.
You deserve the world in its entirety, but for now these words will have to do.

NINE MONTHS OF TEZ 9️⃣💫

I mean really tho, let’s hear it for the boy 🥹

He lights up our every day, is a curious little chap, loves making people laugh, and needs to know what I’m doing 24/7. He is obsessed with food, the bath, his brother, dancing to music, chasing soccer balls and his daddy’s hats. 8 months earth-side 💫🩵

Tez is on 👏 the 👏 move 👏 and not stopping anytime soon.
He absolutely adores his daddy and brother, loves anything involving doors, boxes, water, food, specs of dirt on the kitchen floor, a surface to pull himself up on, you get the picture 🤪

He has become quite the cheeky monkey (as @benj.hanson says) and stolen the hearts of manyyyyy. We are exhausted but immensely grateful to God for trusting us with this little guy 🫶🏼 taken in Siesta Key, Florida by @benj.hanson

My dad, my hero, my confidant.

Telling you, you were to be a Bampi was and always will be one of favourite memories. And seeing you step into that role reminds me of what an incredible dad you were to me growing up!
My gratitude for you goes beyond words, thank you for everything. If it weren’t for you I wouldn’t be where I am now and having the family I always prayed for.

Officially celebrating your first Father’s Day 🥹

@benj.hanson you are the best example for our boys, one I prayed my kids would someday have. You do it effortlessly, humbly, and with a child-like spirit. It may have taken 40 years but as we confidently know-
God’s timing is always perfect. 🥹

Thank you for stepping up, having the hard conversations, and for showing my boys what it looks like to love & respect their mother. I could write a book about how incredible fatherhood looks on you, but there wouldn’t be enough words. Watching you in this role is like watching the sunrise; constant, steady and lighting up our world daily.

I’ve had a few roles in my life but nothing really ever felt truly fulfilling. Then 2 years ago that all changed. I met the love of my life, almost immediately I knew she was the one for me. I literally couldn’t stop thinking about her moments after we left, but there was a potential bump in the road, she had a son. I knew from the get go that her son meant everything to her, the most important part of her life and I knew for us to be together he would have to love me too.
The day I met him, our bond was instantaneous (even if I did get bitten by a giant pig). Being by his side and adopting the “role” of bonus dad, finally gave me that “role” I’ve always been searching for.
Our little man graduated kindergarten today. Not a huge deal, right? Wrong!

Watching him graduate with my son in my arms made me reflect on what an amazing, life changing, purpose fulfilling few years it has been.
I am finally living out the life of my dreams, are my dreams fulfilled yet, absolutely not but have I found my dream role absolutely.
Dada, daddy, stepdad, bonus dad, ding dong, father. That’s who I was made to be and to do it with a woman who the good lord, literally created to be a mother by my side, I couldn’t have prayed for anything more and our life is about to get even more exciting!

So anyone not feeling fulfilled, keep going, keep searching, keep “auditioning” to find that dream “role” because I promise you it’s out there and it’s better than you could have ever imagined!

For the 6 years of my life,
You have always been,
Right by my side,
Never being too mean.

5 months with you now,
Thru my eyes you would see,
How amazing you are,
You literally gave life to me.

I love you taking me to school,
And with you DJing,
We sing out our lungs,
There’s no better feeling,

You breastfeed me, you change me,
You fill me with love,
You teach me, you hold me,
A gift from above.

What I know to be true
Is my mommy is the bestest,
She’s so pretty and so kind,
I love her the mostest.

I’m getting so big, mommy,
That’s all down to you,
That milk just hits different,
I love you mostest too.

So thank you mommy,
From me and Tez too,
I asked Tez to help out,
He said “Dribble, spit up, agoooooo.”

Our boys are so blessed,
To have you as their mommy,
A purpose from god,
You’ve fulfilled ethereally.

Kelsey, in you I have found,
What was missing in my life,
A purposeful mother,
Whom, I’m proud to call my wife.

We celebrate “Mom’s” today,
But let’s say it true,
We don’t say it enough,
But moms, we appreciate you.
