Love means taking detours 🕊️

Sometimes the most beautiful moments happen when we let go of how we thought things should look & make room for what’s right in front of us.

I got to spend the afternoon with these two at one of my favorite spots by the water, and it was such a sweet reminder that God has a way of bringing beauty into the unexpected.

Maybe we don’t always need to know how everything will work out. Maybe we just need a little faith, an open heart & the willingness to take a different path. And maybe the detour will be your favorite part. 🩵🦋

Let this be your sign to go for it, regardless of what people will think. Promote your business, take the compliment, be your own biggest fan, stay humble, and never stop learning. (And deffffinitely don’t write cheesy stuff in your captions) 😜

My girl 🤍

I wish I could bottle up this season of our lives. The way you curl into my chest, your tiny fingers wrapped around mine, your sweet little noises in your sleep, and the way you fit perfectly in my arms.

Motherhood is such a beautiful ache. You’re constantly watching them grow, wishing for the next milestone while secretly wishing you could keep them little forever.

One day, you won’t fit so perfectly against my chest, and I’ll give anything to come back to these ordinary days that were never really ordinary at all.

So for now, I’ll hold you a little longer, kiss you a little more, and thank God a thousand times over that I get to be your mama. by @kelseyhanson_

I don’t think I’ll ever get over this session ✨

If you know me, you know I’m anything but rigid.. so why would I want your photos to feel that way? 😜 I’ll give direction when you need it but mostly I want you to hangout, have fun and try to forget I’m even there.

There are definitely still moments where I feel like I’m playing pretend, because there will always be someone more talented, more established, more experienced. But then I get home and look at the photos and think “oh dang, I actually did that!” 🥹🥲

I’m still learning, still figuring out my style, and it has been a humbling experience to say the least. To the ones who’ve trusted me so far, *cough* @ashleylitterio & @joel.litterio *cough* thank you thank you ilysm. To my future clients + friends, you’re just about all I think about 😉

Still not over this session ✨⏳

I’ve known Emily for 20 years, and being able to capture her love for Louis was such an honor. In her grandpa’s home and like the princess she is. Happy endings aren’t only in movies, sometimes they require years of work + commitment. These two are proof of just that. 🥲
