Happy release day to @delving_music ! It was a pleasure working on the artwork for this one. I am truly greatful for the possibility to work with people I admire yet again. Stay safe and listen to this record. It's a great piece of music with each track drawing you into another beautiful realm of layered melodies and forward driven rhythms. If you can buy this record, you won't regret it. by @benjaminbutter_

You notice something? Nightshade is a simple way for me to sleep at least a little bit better these days. You can use it in different ways of intensity, as you can see when you compare the pictures. For those who think I am talking about plants: "Nightshade is designed as an offense tool to distort feature representations inside generative AI image models. Like Glaze, Nightshade is computed as a multi-objective optimization that minimizes visible changes to the original image. While human eyes see a shaded image that is largely unchanged from the original, the AI model sees a dramatically different composition in the image. For example, human eyes might see a shaded image of a cow in a green field largely unchanged, but an AI model might see a large leather purse lying in the grass. Trained on a sufficient number of shaded images that include a cow, a model will become increasingly convinced cows have nice brown leathery handles and smooth side pockets with a zipper, and perhaps a lovely brand logo." The tool is free anf you can get it here: nightshade.cs.uchicago.edu Stay safe ✨ #illustration #middle #bird #comic #artofinstagram by @benjaminbutter_

"Bitte Löschen"(please delete) is a series of drawings with alcohol based ink on 20cm x 14cm blotting paper, which is called "Löschpapier" in German. As a child I was always fascinated by the shapes that emerged over time. Drawing with ink on this paper also made more fun, although the teachers didn´t like it. But the title refers also to data, which many of us willingly share with companies and AI´s they don´t know or understand. Therefore the drawings look like they are oscillating between mechanical and cellular or biological and technical, just like we humans are, in a transition from one to the other. When put into sunlight, the large pigment molecules of the ink are broken apart by the high energy photons of sunlight. The smaller fragments no longer behave as pigments as a result. Which of your data is being stored for ever or slowly erased by light? by @benjaminbutter_

Cowdy! Benjamin taken in objekt klein a by @benjaminbutter_
