Artist portraits 2.0, part 3!

Last week we posted the fantastic close-ups of @luciaraysolano from ibug 2017. In 2018 she and her camera again moved the artists into the right light.
•
In case of a successful funding of our crowdfunding campaign, the production of the book about the #ibug2018 in #Chemnitz is secured - and of course the printing of the 2017 edition. At the moment we are at 80 percent and only 5 days are left. Help us to cross the finish line!
•
So whether you are at home on the computer or on the phone in a train, a bus, while shopping or on the toilet --> it just takes 3 clicks and 3 minutes to support us and soon become proud owner of one of the first ibug-books ever!

Day 7 on the Italian and Swiss tour with the the Tourette Boys sees us head to the toe of Italy. To the city of Reggio Calabria. After brief stop at Lidl (got see what the Italian one looks like right?) and a beautiful drive that starts driving past Orange Groves and end with a beautiful view of Sicily! We drive through small streets with lots of traffic and get a bit lost thanks to our GPS! We soon load our gear into the Small bar and remark of wow that’s a lot of stuff! But once all up we fit in perfectly and after sound check we find a reasonable level for the sound. We eat some really nice home cooked vegan food and look round the cook bar with awesome art that Nuvola and her partner our hosts for tonight run. It’s a really cool place and slowly but surely as we start people come and the bar is rammed by the time we play. I start with the solo set songs for lovers set maybe for Valentine’s Day. Before the Tourette Boys play again lovely set from them. We play next and it’s a really fun set and people super get into it too which so cool. We even play 3 out of the 5 new album songs as we get asked for an encore! Only issue is my mic stand is broken as so keeps trying to move the mic away but I survive and it’s a really fun night. Soon bunch very tired guys are off to sleep. #timholehouse #timholehousetourdiaries #touretteboys #artourette #meno1 #italy🇮🇹#tour #tourlife #physcadelicrock

Day 5 on the Tim Holehouse and the Tourette Boys tour of Swiss land and Italia. We decide today to avoid toll roads as been rinsing us. It turns out if you don’t take the toll roads you go over the twisty roads over the mountains. I have several panic attacks and so most the journey is with my eyes shut till we get on the flat. I’m sure if you like that kind of thing the view is beautiful (but not for me). After a while we arrive @arcidallo an awesome spot I played last year. Full cool folks and right thinking folks. The show starts with local act two Hicks and one city man. They are cool and sound so English new wave so funny. Think the cure meets the editors I guess. Super catchy tunes and groovy beats. The Tourette’s play another great wee set before we finish off the show with our set together playing really well tonight and finding our groove as it where. After the show we hang in the bar and Ben gets told he can paint on the 17th Century wall tomorrow (in main photo) #tourlife #physcadelicrock #arcidallo #arttourrettes #italy🇮🇹 #timholehouse #touretteboys
