Designed by @LAYER_design for @AndreuWorld, the Hula family is defined by the circular geometry and smooth movement of the Hula stool. The signature language of the Hula Stool has been re-imagined as an enveloping upholstered form, with arms that flow naturally from the seat and back. It marks another step in the evolution of Hula, from an award-winning family of stools into a broader collection united by one recognisable sculptural language. Sero is a new task chair, designed and engineered by @LAYER_design for @AndreuWorld, that brings a lighter, softer expression to high-performance workplace seating. Defined by a fluid, nature-inspired silhouette, the chair pares back the visual and mechanical complexity typically associated with the category. A lightweight perforated backrest creates a distinctive diamond pattern that encourages airflow, while upholstered seat options and softly padded armrests introduce tactility and warmth. Sero continues LAYER and Andreu World’s exploration of more intuitive, adaptable furniture for the contemporary workplace. Discover more → layerdesign.com/sero by @benjaminhubert
Designed by @LAYER_design for @AndreuWorld, Hula Club is a compact lounge chair that takes inspiration from the circular geometry and fluid motion of the studio’s original collection of Hula stools. The chair brings a new sense of movement to the familiar club chair typology. A distinctive handle integrated into the chair’s back makes it easy to move, while concealed castors allow it to rotate and be repositioned as conversations and configurations change. With Loft, designed by LAYER for @DailyObjects_official, we set out to rethink the overlooked power strip as an object worthy of being shown off in the home rather than hidden behind furniture. The gently inclined form improves visibility and access, while soft radiused edges and carefully considered proportions give the charging station a calm, architectural presence. By combining multiple charging functions into a single sculptural object, Loft reduces cable clutter and turns an everyday utility into a desirable object for the home. Charging products have become an increasingly important part of our homes, yet most still feel like anonymous pieces of technology. With Node, designed by @LAYER_design for @DailyObjects_official, we looked to rethink that experience. Rather than creating a single charging device, we developed a modular ecosystem that can be configured around the products people actually own and adapt as those needs change. The result is a system that feels flexible and personal, while bringing more warmth and character to everyday life. The collection includes modular 2-in-1 and 3-in-1 charging docks, a wireless charging phone stand with an integrated battery, a charging disk, an Apple Watch charging stand, and a portable lamp that can move effortlessly around the home. This week, I’ve been celebrating some recent wins for the studio, and today I’m excited to share that the CryoGlow face mask designed by @LAYER_design with the @SharkBeauty design team has been recognised by @TIME in their The Best Inventions of 2025 awards! The bestselling revolutionary mask uses three types of light to kill acne-causing bacteria and stimulate collagen production, which reduces fine lines. Unlike other LED masks, it also has cold zones under the eyes to reduce redness and puffiness. A big thank you to the team at SharkNinja and the TIME judges! I’m delighted to announce that the MAZZU Camping Mattress by LAYER has been awarded a 2026 @RedDotDesignAward. The project began with a simple question: could the comfort, performance and sustainability of a home mattress be translated into a portable system for the outdoors? Building on the original MAZZU Mattress, which received a Red Dot Best of the Best Award, we developed a modular, foam-free design that packs down for travel while delivering a comfortable night’s sleep in the great outdoors!. Thank you to the team at MAZZU, the LAYER team, and the Red Dot jury for recognising this project. Discover more → layerdesign.com/mazzu by @benjaminhubert
