How does 5 years go by so quickly! I didn’t have a clue what I was getting myself in to when I started at the Kansas Aviation Museum, but it’s been such an incredible ride.

Today marks the beginning of the next chapter as we open our renovated kids STEAM center. It serves as a reminder that we are in the work of making people’s lives better by showing them what’s possible and then giving them the opportunity to explore and create for themselves. This is a testament to the work of our staff, board and community to put others first.

Im thankful for those who’ve mentored and encouraged me, supported our mission, and made this journey fun. Here’s to the next chapter starting at KAM! by @benjammin3700

The kids had such a fun time at @explorationplace thanks to @meritrustcu customer appreciation day. They climbed, slid, swang and rolled til we were tired of chasing them. by @benjammin3700

More than Movement - don’t mistake moving for progress.

It was an honor to share a little of my journey of leadership yesterday for Skyward Credit Union’s Culture Day as their keynote speaker. Kevin is leading this organization in an incredible way, and it showed yesterday watching this team come together. Thank you Kevin, Aggie and team. It was great to spend the morning with you. by @benjammin3700

Vacation memories are always worth the $$! We had a blast on the @carnival Ferinzie. The dude makes friends everywhere he goes. He just walks up and says “Can I be your friend?” How simple for us to learn from. #dadlife #boysdad by @benjammin3700

Going through some memories and found these from almost 10 years ago. Think it’s time for another 5K? Only if it’s a color run. This was a lot of fun. #5KRun #colorrun #friendmemories by @benjammin3700

Today’s beach day experience hit some of the feels of life. As I sat there the old Kyla Rowland song came to mind “and when the waves of life are so high you can’t mount them - then He steps between me and the storm.”

It’s been almost 5 years here at KAM, and I couldn’t think of a better friend and mentor going into this than @gbwez! Yes helped me navigate through challenges, given great advice and ideas, and is just a great guy.
