“I think the biggest issue that I have with artificial intelligence is this — Jesus says, it is the child of God’s birthright to hear the voice of God. He says, In John 10, ‘My sheep will know my voice. They’ll listen to what I say’. In a world of competing voices, artificial intelligence has a danger of becoming a counterfeit Holy Spirit, where we ask questions to a chat that we should be asking of the Lord.”

But Martha was distracted by all the preparations that had to be made. She came to him and asked, “Lord, don’t you care that my sister has left me to do the work by myself? Tell her to help me!” 41 “Martha, Martha,” the Lord answered, “you are worried and upset about many things, 42 but few things are needed—or indeed only one. Mary has chosen what is better, and it will not be taken away from her.”

Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moths and vermin destroy, and where thieves break in and steal. 20 But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where moths and vermin do not destroy, and where thieves do not break in and steal. 21 For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also…

Whenever we see true beauty, it's a window into the reality of heaven. 🌅

Pastors Benji + Jen Horning of Light Church in Encinitas, CA, felt called to partner with God to plant a church centered on beauty and on being the artist. ✝️

Through Foursquare Multiply, pastors like Benji + Jen are being empowered and equipped to foster the communities God is calling each of them to form uniquely. ⛪️

Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord…. Since you know that you will receive an inheritance from the Lord as a reward. It is the Lord Christ you are serving.

“Every marriage is meant to be a taste of heaven, a glimpse back into Eden, and an anticipation of what will one day be true. We are the face of God to each other.”

In the book, The Hiding Place, Corrie ten Boom and her sister Betsie were imprisoned together at Ravensbrück, a brutal Nazi concentration camp in Germany, after being arrested for hiding Jews in their home in Haarlem, Netherlands. Conditions were horrific… starvation, disease, and extreme cold, especially as winter set in. Betsie, always frailer than Corrie, grew increasingly ill.

As she was being carried away to the camp hospital ward, in what would be one of her final moments before dying, these were the words she whispered to Corrie. by @benjihorning

You are a distinct beauty
Against the clamor of the world
A rebellious radiance
When light is tempted to dim

You are a pirouette of hope
Upon the floors of the mundane
The aroma of ever flowing love
In an age reeking of self importance

No leaf has been stilled
Against the breeze of your wonder
No life can remain shallow
In the depth of your presence

Mine is the heart you’ve enchanted
The hand that you hold
The eyes that you’ve captured
The attention you’ve drawn
The mind you’ve dazzled
And the soul you’ve enraptured
