Here’s what showing up looks like when a room full of people decide winter doesn’t get to win.

📣 Meet our winners 🎉

Gina half-joked about cancelling her Bali trip because nothing fit after 6 weeks because she did a proper recomposition, down in weight, down in body fat, up in muscle.

Raj clocked 120,000+ steps a week, every week, all winter. No dramatic overhaul, just consistency, and the results followed.

Two very different goals. Two people who showed up for themselves when it counted.

No AI can build this.

The people who show up on the days they don’t feel like it. Who cheer for someone else’s personal best like it’s their own. Who somehow make 6am feel less awful just by being there.

That’s the part nobody tells you about when you join a gym. The training gets you results. The people keep you coming back.

Come and see what we’re building at Habitat 💪🏼 taken in Habitat Gym by @benluoaep

Team captains: George & Stanley 🐾

Winter Challenge attendance was up, and we’re not letting that momentum drop. This September we’re walking for PetRescue’s Best Friends Walk, and the whole Habitat crew is invited to join us!

Our mascots say it best. A year ago we rescued Stanley from Blacktown Animal Rehoming Centre, shaven, skinny and scared. Today he’s the best glow up we’ve ever seen, and now the cuddliest boy in the building.

We’re walking to raise funds for a great cause, so more pups like Stanley get the same shot at a happy ending. Same energy, different September. Let’s keep the streak going. 🐶

And if you need a little extra motivation to get those steps in, the Habitat Homie who covers the most distance will win a $100 voucher to @parxcoffeehouse. This is the perfect excuse to celebrate your hard work over lunch with your pup (or walking buddy)!

The last session in Habitat Gym 1.0 🥹 I’m not gonna lie, it hit harder than I expected.

This was the space we built from scratch, back when it was just us, an empty warehouse and a plan that could’ve gone either way. We didn’t know if anyone would show up. People did. Some of them are still with us years later.

I keep thinking about all the sessions that happened here. All the people who showed up on the days they really didn’t want to, and left a little different than when they walked in. That’s what all this was for.

Bittersweet doesn’t really cover it. But we didn’t close this chapter, we just made room for a bigger one 🥂💚 taken in Habitat Gym by @benluoaep

The hardest part is showing up to the gym, so we’ve been testing out Uber Backpack to give you a lift 🎒

One month in the new space. This is how we celebrated. 🎉

The ribbon cutting, the competitions, the people, the energy in the room. We genuinely couldn’t have asked for a better day.

What started as two people and a belief that our community deserved better has turned into this. And we’re just getting started.
