Happy Birthday to our Artistic Director, Ben Needham-Wood! 🎉

From his creativity and vision as a choreographer to the energy and passion he brings to Boulder Ballet every day, Ben continues to inspire our dancers and community (and clearly has a few moves up his sleeve)!

Help us celebrate Ben by making a $17 donation in honor of his October 17th birthday! 🎂

Every gift, big or small, is a meaningful way to say “Happy Birthday” and “Thank You” to Ben while supporting the artists, performances, and creative work that make Boulder Ballet what it is.

A few moments from our [In]Human season opener!

Three distinct works filled the stage: Jorma Elo’s Over Glow, Ben Needham-Wood’s Sun & Steel, performed with live musicians from Boulder Philharmonic, and the world premiere of Natasha Adorlee’s How to Build a Dream Apparatus.

Thank you to everyone who shared this performance with us and helped us kick off the season.

Next up: Dancers’ Choice. Stay tuned as we share more about what our dancers are creating and exploring next!

Thank you to our incredible audience for the electric energy you brought to Chautauqua Auditorium last night!

From the return of Jorma Elo’s Over Glow, to Ben Needham-Wood’s Sun & Steel performed alongside live musicians from Boulder Philharmonic, to the world premiere of Natasha Adorlee’s How to Build a Dream Apparatus, this program brought three completely distinct choreographic voices to the stage.

We couldn’t have asked for a more exciting start to our 2026–27 season. Thank you for experiencing [In]Human with us! by @benneedhamwood
